Tried to test the app but every time I go to download the shit my rock player keeps coming up.,,oh well I'll get it when it officially drops.

Since ur casting the tab u Need to stream from a computer with some processing horse power tho.

You have to stop rock player from acting as the default. Settings, apps, rockplayer, clears defaults.
I tested it out and it worked for me. Shared from drive and gallery
Works fine with my Verizon router. Just had to change an option. It worked out the box when casting. But i had to make a change to my router settings to get chrome to cast.Already sent mine back a week ago...won't work with my Verizon router (all Verizon's fault)

Interesting! Well, I place my order with Amazon and can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately, currently they are out of stock and will ship the item as soon as they become available. But I gotta admit I'm a bit skeptical about the product.
U can look at it like this... for $35 you Have Netflix, YouTube and Google play movies streaming perfectly.
Plus u get to try a bunch of other shit as devs try to make a name for themselves off this device. By Christmas this whole chromecast thing will be amazing...
Like I said can't wait to try it out! But for me it's really more about being able to play streaming content for those various sites like I mentioned earlier(1channel, noobroom) etc to the BIG TV. Until now I've been limit to watching them on my laptop.
If the device can deliver on that end then i'm sold. Everything else is a plus.
Still trying to get this aircast shit. I checked my rock players defaults and there is none set so I dont understand why it launches every time I try to downloads the apk

I was kinda into this, but unless you are traveling, you can do the same thing with a PS3 and the PS3 Media Server software. And you don't have to touch your computer...
