There's no nuance in your assessment of the problem at all. Let's say I agree that the word "nigga" isn't particularly productive or useful. If you're being honest... it shouldn't be particularly difficult to understand why or how a white person saying "*******" and some brothers calling each other "nigga" is different. In fact, as I listed above, there are only a few conclusions to be drawn from any insistence to the contrary.
There's no "defense of ignorance" here whatsoever. It's really quite simple.... feel free to preach that the word needs to be retired among black people. That's actually a reasonable pov that I can respect. When you move from that reasonable position to drawing an equivalence between white/black usage of the term "nigga"/"*******" then you've basically engaged in a wholesale departure from reality. Asking to be taken seriously is kind of a non-starter.

Well we weren't saying it in tha late 1800s and up until tha 1950s and Blacks were getting hung and murdered like it was going out of style.Only way we get respect is to pool our money together and build our own shit.They can't bomb us like they did in Tulsa.
