Niggas actually want their NBA team to tank next season to try and pick up Wiggins:lol::lol::lol:....that's fucking pathetic. We are days away from training camp and I don't know now 1 NFL fan that would want his team to Tank a season on purpose....FUCK THE SHITTY ASS NBA:hmm:

Big difference between the two sports though.
One player can turn an entire team around in the NBA.
One player, no matter how great, cannot turn around an NFL by himself.
That's why NBA teams tank on purpose.
 
All the Lakers have to do is have Kobe sit out the whole season, and they'll get Wiggins....:lol:

if the Lakers would want to have a shot at the #1 pick,....they could tank their season and just have Kobe sit out. of course we know that isnt gonna happen.....but its just a what if and if they wanted a shot at it.

Lakers aint winning shit even with a Healthy Kobe.
Kobe knows the Lakers aint winning shit next year or 5 years after that, but he will force himself to come back because Jordan forced himself to play with what some folks considered a "career ending" type injury.

There have been numerous players who have carried their teams throughout the years.
Maybe it didn't lead to a Super Bowl ring but one player hasn't always carried his team to a NBA
Championship ring either,
Basketball is just a boring,soft sport.
People get excited by a dude that's 6'9 and can just 3 inches to dunk.:hmm:

yeah football teams only tank from week 13, but no one tanks during the beginging, the colts were just really awful, watch when Brady leaves NE....

Last good thing to come out of ga was aj before that champ and Hines ward, not a good track record, I think we should pass on his dry crackers and no water to drink ass, btw we know we have problems but I think we are better than the falcons assess who seem to never get that ship, holla at me when they get something besides a light bulb in that championship case :lol:

Everyone knows that steeler team with Lynn swann had more hof'ers than a little bit,

Same with that 49'er team hell Jerry and Ronnie Lott was on that team and I suppose joe Montana was a lucky qb who couldn't make plays.

Lawerence Taylor was good but I remember belicheck saying buddy that played MLB was more solid overall than Taylor, he covered better and took on the double teams to free up Taylor

I'll give you Dan but never won a super bowl so???

Walter got a lot of yards because we never had a great qb, but we got to the 85 one because of defense.

AP will never win one unless they get a better qb, or defense, he's stuck

Joe Namath had one lucky season, he was an avg qb that a lot of things came together for
 
In my opinion the biggest reason the nfl shits on the nba is guarenteed contracts. The nba has them and the nfl does not. In the nba players only need to play well in their contract years so they get the next big contract. After that, they can slack off and the team still must pay them 100% of the contract. Sure, an nba team can cut the player, but they still have to pay the remainder of the contract.

In the nfl, any player can be cut during any season and the team is only responsible for the signing bounds that was paid. This means the player needs to perform or they stand the chance of getting cut. This practice in the nfl makes it a lot easier for teams to build a bad squad into a contender. If you sign a player to a big contract and the player turns out to be a bust, an nfl team can release/trade the player and get out of that contract and keep building.

In the nba, it's very hard for teams to get out of a bad contract. You can trade the player, but you have to find a team that has a player/s with matching contracts and all that other shit. You also are taking on another teams trash in most cases. Hell, in the nba you have teams trading just to dump salaries. Like, i will take you trash player if you take my trash player just because your trash players contract ends in two years. That's fucked up.

This is why I love th nfl more then the nba.
