Every defense in every trial ask for an immediate acquittal before they are told to proceed.
No harm in asking.
No juror is going to believe either side when it comes to voice identification.
At worst, the jury will find both at fault and convict George on a lesser charge in a compromise which will still get GZ 25 years.
Trayvon was 17 thus a minor. 25 years GZ is your best outcome.

Its an insult and disgrace to even have that fool up there nightly. His mere presence is the epitome of white privilege personified. This guy has absolutely no business being on nightly with a panel consisting mainly of legal professionals, analyst, and journalist. And his demeanor and level of disrespect is beyond frustrating to have to sit and watch. He is living proof that these networks are far more concerned with entertaining and provoking than they are with informing or providing objectivity and balance.
That uneducated piece of trash reduces every discussion to a yelling match reminiscent of a Jerry Springer segment.
Yeah, I agree with pretty much everything that he says about the evidence pointing to Zimmerman pursuing Trayvon and the fight occurring, and Zimmerman is liable because he used deadly force against an unarmed kid.
But I think that Zimmerman was out to get Trayvon "by any means necessary". And he saw Trayvon as a threat to his community that he was going to make sure doesn't get away, which is part of the reason why Zimmerman was packing.
So even if Trayvon threw the 1st punch Zimmerman was making sure that he would throw the last one. And he knew it as soon as he stepped out of his vehicle and went after Martin.
A short tempered, hair trigger, wannabe cop, neighborhood watch patrol man is the real threat to the community.

I posted about this last year (and no one gave a fuck lol)... if he does actually have this rap sheet which includes domestic violence, theft and trespass charges it begs the question "Why the fuck haven't any journalists called him on it?". I get what you're saying but trust me they already told all the associates on the show to not say shit. They know he's scum. Remember they are getting paid to. They aren't going to fuck up their checks scoring points. Sad but true.
This is exactly how I feel. They pick some pea brained white guy to engage in a serious discussion with a panel of highly educated black lawyers, etc. There's no way I'd show up, but I think they need the publicity too.
