If you're planning a 6.5 build (or any other niche caliber), I would definitely look into rolling your own ammo. I built both .300 blk and a .50 Beowulf AR's without thought of ammo supply. Now I'm waiting on the ammo backlog to ease up. I'm probably going to build a .458 Socom from a billet seekings lower I have sitting in the safe. That is after I get some time to learning how to reload.

How long have you been reloading, and what press are you using?

I have a Dillion, been realoading for a couple of years now

wow a Beowolf

I just want something to reach 800-1000 in a semi auto, plus the ammo is very cheap (I have a .416, which is killing my pocket)

Yeah man, I should have started reloading years ago. The ammo for my Beowulf is almost impossible to find. When available, it's about $1.50 per round.....

lol my .308s (boat tails cost that much, the .416 is around 3.60 a round have you tried the ammo search engine???

YOU CAN TRIM 5.56 BRASS AND LOAD YOUR OWN 300 BLACKOUT:yes:

I have tried multiple searches and, I have setup email notifications for in stock ammo. I'm all set with 9mm, 45acp, .40 S&W, 5.56, .22lr. I have so many sub calibers, that I will benefit from reloading. .50 and .300 blk, 5.7x28, 7.62 Nagant are just a few of the niche caliber firearms I own. In a few cases, reloading is the only way to obtain some of this ammo in great quantities.

I've read about this to exhaustion, the problem is I've never rolled my own ammo. I'm going to have to get on the ball....
