All i ever remember about this was the ship could turn into a phoenix. What's the story about this stuff? Were they super powered? I remember 1 of them had a duck bill face mask. Wtf was that about?

That shit was horrible. They editted the fuck out of it and added a fake ass R2D2 robot to fill in the time left over. The new names they gave the characters were retarded too.
I wish they spent some money on this movie. It just looks like a slightly bigger budget version of their super sentai/power rangers shows.
It seems like Japanese studios woke up and decided to produce their own live action films,instead of allowing American studios to fuck it up.....

and I'd LOVE to see them do gunsmith cats and riding bean
years ago (before the infamy) I had imagined lindsay lohan playing Rally Vincent
would have been a great action role for her..
but the studios would have fucked up the story and character dynamics and she would have fucked up the rest..damn I wish I owned a studio

looks like fun.
english dubs invariably sound ignorant, nonsensical and silly as fuck, while the original japanese speech sounds natural, emotional, organic, and generally "more realistic".
after awhile, you dont even have to read all of the dubs, as some words and phrases begin to translate immediately in your head.
There is only a few anime,I rather watch the dub over sub version...but I agree the original Japanese dub is better than the English dub
G Force was first cartoon series where we saw people die, that was a HUGE draw in the late 70's to early 80's. Especially if you grew up on Mighty Mouse, Heckle and Jeckle and Bugs and them....felt like a grown up cartoon.
I would then watch Cyborg 009 on channel 68 on Friday nights which was pure gangsta at that time.

Apparently the original character would switch sexes. Which was all edited out of the edited american gatchaman tv shows.

I have yet to see any of this series. That's probably the best cell shade rendering I've seen. Would love to see more Anime use this.
