The Reggie! bar made it's debut in 1978 by Wayne Candies.
"Within a few years, Reggie! bars had completely disappeared from the candy aisles. The candy bar did make a small comeback in 1993, the year that Jackson was induced into baseball’s Hall of Fame. Wayne re-released the candy bar briefly as a tribute but, once again, it was a short-lived endeavor."

O'Grady's Potato Chips are cut thicker for more potato taste.

7 Up Gold was marketed for a short time in 1988 as a spice-flavored beverage, similar to Vernor's Ginger Ale. Even though 7 Up's marketing slogan at that time was Never Had It, Never Will (referring to caffeine), 7 Up Gold did list caffeine as one of its ingredients. It was introduced by 7 Up in the hopes of capturing 1% of the cola market. However, it only captured one-tenth of one percent of the cola market apparently because people were confused by 7 Up marketing a soft drink with caffeine, and therefore it was discontinued. The 7 Up Gold recipe was actually an unused Dr Pepper invention.

thought i was the only one. burger king trying to sling all this trendy stuff, chef inspired--all they need to do is fire up the grill. when i was a kid a whopper was a treat, hey i was a broke kid. them jokers used to taste like they were straight off the grill. nothing like a grilled burger.

Hydrox is the brand name for a creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookie that debuted in 1908 and was manufactured by Sunshine (later Sunshine Biscuits).[1] The similar Oreo cookie—introduced later, in 1912—was inspired by the Hydrox, yet Hydrox suffered from the impression of being the knockoff.[2] Compared to Oreos, Hydrox cookies have a tangy, less-sweet filling and a crunchier cookie that gets less soggy in milk.
