because if you don't turn it over the half court offense is stagnant

that's why they always no matter what this game have been trying to go with the early offense. early off of misses early off of out of bounds.

get there and force the issue before the defense bottles them up. but you can't do that if every bucket is in the lane or shooting free throws or through the post.
