{--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 4 - Pacers 3--}

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

James fouled out only 2 times in his career

Both playoff games

Both games Joey Crawford officiated

It's no coincidence

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

-Lead his team to 27 straight wins.

-Dominate games/the league shooting less and averaging less than 20 shots a game

-Close out a Finals with a triple double

-Have both a triple double and GAME WINNING SHOT in a playoff game

I could go on, but I'll stop there.

27 game winning streak.... NICE!!... but... 72-10 IS BETTER THAN THAT...

Close out a Finals with a triple double... NICE... BUT... 6 for 6 in the FINALS is BETTER THAN 1 FOR 3...

Close out a Finals with a Triple Double is NICE... BUT... Never going beyond Game 6... IS BETTER THAN THAT...

Have a triple double and game winning shot in a playoff game is NICE... BUT... DO WE EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT GAME WINNING SHOTS WHEN IT COME TO JORDAN... I don't think so... :hmm:

Dominate a game/the league shooting less... BLAH... BLAH... BLAH... WHATEVER???

How about this... BEING dominated... and utterly... PUNKED BY LESSER TALENT...

THIS IS WHERE LEBRON AND MJ PART WAYS... MJ has NEVER... EVER... been dominated or punked by lesser talent in the finals... :smh:

Picture Jason Terry and Deshawn Stevenson PUNKING MJ... :hmm:... :cmonson:

I like Lebron just as much as the next guy... but... TAKE IT EASY ON BATH SALTS... :smh:

I'm really not understanding this... People act like the Heat have a team full of first ballot hall of famers! News flash, the difference between the Heat and the Pacers is LEBRON JAMES! That's it! To a man, based on players, there is no huge disparity of talent down the line...

The Heat have 3 starters that are arguably in the top 5 at their respective positions in the league. The Heat also have the best 3-point shooter in NBA history coming off the bench and getting quality minutes. They may not all be first ballot hall of famers, but let's not pretend that this team is suffering from a lack of talent outside of Lebron. A huge talent disparity? No, but the talent level would still favor the Heat.

Looking at this match-up on paper, the Heat would have the advantage in both starters and reserves, and comparing the Heat roster to the Cavs (done by another poster) is disingenuous.

On a related note, the Heat get away with all types of bullshit calls all the time, but now that Lebron fouls out Heat fans think it's a conspiracy?

 Stop!

Way to put the popcorn away and regulate shit Van! And by the way, as broken down as Wade is looking its doubtful Lebron is ever going to sniff MJ's finals dominance. He might not even make it to 6 finals! Motherfucker doing all that celebrating after signing with the Heat they couldn't hear Wades body creaking already!

This ain't 2007 and this isn't the same Ray Allen! *nd this for damn sure aint the same D Wade that beat the Mavs so your point is moot! That's like saying the Mike Tyson that came out of prison was the same one that dominated in the 80s. And what did that hype get him? A freshly whipped ass regularly! college 3 point line that year. Give this 2013 a college 3 point line and they would've won even more games. They are 47-5 in their last 52 games including the playoffs.

Close out a Finals with a triple double... NICE... BUT... 6 for 6 in the FINALS is BETTER THAN 1 FOR 3...

6 for 6 because he wasnt good enough to make it to a Finals in the "Golden Era" 80s. Dr. J was there, Hakeem was there, Bird was there, Magic was there. But no Mike in the Reagen era. He was a 1st round flameout and loser when basketball was at its peak in the modern era. Thank God for Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson.

Close out a Finals with a Triple Double is NICE... BUT... Never going beyond Game 6... IS BETTER THAN THAT...

Wit the refs coddilng and breastfeeding him so much no one is shocked he rarely saw 7 games series. And in the early part of his career the shits rarely went 6.

Have a triple double and game winning shot in a playoff game is NICE... BUT... DO WE EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT GAME WINNING SHOTS WHEN IT COME TO JORDAN... I don;t think so... :hmm:

Jordan never hit a game winner in a playoff game he posted a triple double. He only had 2 triple doubles in the playoffs TOTAL. He was a "scorer" primarily.

Dominate a game/the league shooting less... BLAH... BLAH... BLAH... WHATEVER???

To be great Jordan needed to shoot the ball ALOT. He led the league in attempts 9 times (an NBA record) and led the playoffs in attempts 8 times (an NBA record). Jordan needed to be a VOLUME SHOOTER to DOMINATE and he could only control a game thru SCORING. This is not the case with LeBron. He can control a game in a multitude of ways.

How about this... BEING dominated... and utterly... PUNKED BY LESSER TALENT...

1995 Orlando Magic punked Jordan pretty good. Stopped that "comeback" shit cold in its tracks.

THIS IS WHERE LEBRON AND MJ PART WAYS... MJ has NEVER... EVER... been dominated or punked by lesser talent in the finals... :smh:

No, where LeBron and MJ part ways is it took MJ 4 tries just to win a playoff series. So what his other playoff losses don't count because they didnt take place in the Finals? I've never seen a white boy post up LeBron repeatedly and take him to school the way Bird did Jordan man. 0-6 against Bird, a legend in the 80s and dudes act like it aint happen. Like I said, Mike DOMINATED a weak 90s decade and was a nobody scorer in the 80s. 1 MVP award in that decade. No Finals appearances.

Picture Jason Terry and Deshawn Stevenson PUNKING MJ... :hmm:... :cmonson:

Picture LeBron getting ripped by Nick Anderson at the end of a playoff game. Then bitching up and passing the ball when he got a chance to shoot the game winner afterwards. And instead of manning up and admitting his faults, he blames it on his "number" and promptly switches his jersey number "back" to get back some kind of mojo pissing off the league (for taking his jersey out of retirement without permission) and still losing the series in the process. Imagine LeBron having to lie about getting "cut" from his HS team so that people would "relate" to him and "feel sorry for him" setting up a career of coddling.

I like Lebron just as much as the next guy... but... TAKE IT EASY ON BATH SALTS... :smh:

Michael Jordan is a nextel chirp
LeBron is an android

I'm tired of old timers telling ducktales because they cant accept evolution. Jordan is one of the greats, but he's no Inkosi.

I done pissed off an old timer. I's done insulted Phil Knight's bottom bitch. Jordan never BITCHED UP?

Working More Magic, Jordan Disappears as Bulls Lose To Pistons

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Yes, almost anybody might have expected the Detroit Pistons to be successful Wednesday night on their home court, to take a 3-2 advantage over the Chicago Bulls in their ferocious match to see who fights the Lakers for the National Basketball Assn. championship.

Yes, somebody might have even foreseen Vinnie (Microwave) Johnson coming off the bench to score 16 of his 22 points for Detroit in the fourth quarter, breaking open a close game.

However, could anybody have anticipated, before Detroit's 94-85 victory over Chicago in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals, that:

--Chicago's Michael Jordan would take only eight shots in 46 minutes?

--Craig Hodges would lead Chicago in shots \o7 and\f7 points?

--Bill Laimbeer would be benched by Detroit the entire fourth quarter?

--Detroit's Isiah Thomas and Mark Aguirre would be benched \o7 almost\f7 the entire fourth quarter?

--Detroit's starting five would combine in the fourth quarter for three points?

--Brad Sellers would play 22 minutes for Chicago after not playing in the past three games--and take one less shot than Jordan?

No wonder it was suggested that the Bulls turned Jordan into a $2.5-million-a-year decoy.

"That's a pretty crass thing to say," Jordan's coach, Doug Collins, snapped back. "That's a pretty big shot to take at us.

"Michael scores 46 points, and people say he's not sharing enough of the offense. Now he takes eight shots and you tell him he's the highest-priced decoy in the game.

"Is that fair?"

Jordan sure didn't think so.

He made a conscious effort, he said, to involve his teammates in the offense, what with the Pistons putting everybody but their trainer on him when he touched the ball.

"Why should I take the shots if they're double-teaming me, triple-teaming me, sometimes even putting four guys on me?" Jordan asked. "Didn't we still get good shots?"

Yes, Michael.

"Well, did we hit 'em?"

No, Michael.

"That's the whole story," Jordan said. "We gotta hit 'em."

Held to 18 points--10 on free throws--Jordan was virtually no scoring factor in the game, although he did account for more than half (nine) of Chicago's assists.

Detroit's defense just keeps wearing Air Jordan and the Jordanaires down, bit by bit. The Bulls got only 80 points in Game 4. This time they got only 85, and were outshot by the Pistons by a ridiculously lopsided 80-59--the 59 shots an all-time playoff low by any NBA team.

http://articles.latimes.com/1989-06-01/sports/sp-1414_1_michael-scores-detroit-s-isiah-thomas-shots

After being criticized for being a ballhog and shutting out his teammates in Game 4, Jordan pulls a "Kobe in Phoenix" and stops shooting in Game 5 to prove a point that his scoring is most important. Pistons didnt even need their starters in the 4th to beat Mike. :smh: Keep in mind Bulls were up 2-1 in this series, then choked away 3 straight. Jordan BITCHED UP but since it didnt happen in the Finals, Vandamnation has blocked it out of his mind.

Let's see...

So you're saying a college 3pt line is why the Bulls went 72-10... :hmm:...

You say MJ wasn't good enough to get past Hakeem, Bird and Magic(even though he BEAT Magic for his first ring)... OK... So, how is INKOSI sooo much better MJ when he let BUM ASS Deshawn Stevenson and Lil' ass Jason Terry STOP HIM FROM GETTING A RING... OH... Inkosi AIN'T WIN SHIT WITHOUT WADE and BOSH... and SPO' either... In fact... even when he had them... HE'S LOST!!!!:dunno:

The refs... :hmm:... As a Knicks fan... AFTER GAME 6 against the Pacers... I DO NOT WANT TO SHIT ABOUT REFS... FROM ANYBODY... NO EXCUSES... :itsawrap:

As far as Triple Double go... You got me... Inkosi a triple double machine... HANDS DOWN... NO DEBATE!!!... BUT... MJ... IS A WINNER!!!!... HANDS DOWN... NO DEBATE!!!... Who cares about a fuckin triple double ... if you're known for SHRINKING UNDER PRESSURE.

in 1995... Jordan came back... what??? mid season... and not in his usually shape... and Orlando took advantage... as they should have... BUT... what happened when he came back in shape??? 72-10...:itsawrap:

As far as picturing Inkosi getting ripped by Nick Anderson... I don't have to... All I gotta do is picture Inkosi's face when he was in Cleveland and he realized he had NO chance against Boston... or when they played Orlando and he had that SAME DAZED AND CONFUSED look in his eyes... OR... what about when Jason Terry told him to his face in MIAMI...' THIS IS MY CRIB, NIGGA!!!'... or when Deshawn Stevenson told him' TO WIPE THAT 3pt shot out of his eye.' IN every instance... I saw the SAME look...

Bottom line... I HOPE YOU DON'T GO OUTSIDE AND BITE SOMEBODY'S FACE OFF...

Second... That Pistons team was loaded and simply better at that time than the Bulls... Just like, The Spurs were better than Cleveland when thew Cavs got swept... That's why I don't hold that against INKOSI that much.

It was a natural progression... Detroit had to fight to past Boston... then fight to get past the Lakers... Chicago was basically... next in line... :dunno:

And Hibbert camps out in the lane more than 3 secs all day along with blatantly pushing a defender when he gets boxed out for a rebound...

Now watch game 5 there will be a few techs and Hibbert and West in foul trouble early

It wasn't the amount of calls because it was basically even on both teams but it was the quality of calls.

Once James got his 5th I told my lady watch he foul out and to further secure the game watch it will be another bullshit call on the heat where it finishes the game

Sure enough a walk was called on wade on a step back play he has done hundreds of times in his career ...

This has been the worst officiated series and its up there with quite a few of them

Miami is going to win the next 2....

Pacers are no rivalry of the heat shit is bein manufactured

Bulls and Heat that's a rivalry

We all know Miami is 300 times better than the Pacers because for the amount of times the heat attrack the rim hibbert contest every shot yet no calls

Funny those same calls would go against Noah all day and he is a better defensive player than Hibbert

That right there is why I say Jordan is nowhere near Inkosi's level. The hand holding, the excuse making. When Mike loses its always "the team that beat him was loaded" or "they were great blah, blah". You cant be the best if people feel sorry for you, I'm sorry. People don't react that way to omnipotence. That Mavs team LeBron lost to was LOADED with the league's highest payroll filled with vets who'd been in the league longer than LeBron, Wade, & Bosh. The Mavs SWEPT the defending champs and the Jordan imposter. They beat OKC in 5 games. It was the Heat's first year playing together. But no one makes excuses for Inkosi. He's held to a higher standard. He's asked to kick longer FGs. He's better. Period.

mofos be talking bout what Ray Allen did 8 fuckng yrs ago like it's gon help tmo night.

sports is about right fucking now. the past stats play no part in future performance.

I agree...the refs are not calling the defensive 3 sec call aka, "illegal defense."

the spurs & heat are both notorious for having 2 or 3 players just hanging out in the lane to harass post players...just look at the crowded lane. :smh:

you either play a true zone or man-up and if playing man, you need to be within arm's reach of your man-unless you commit to the double team.

wade & chalmers love to "float" in the lane and steal from the weakside while their man is way behind the 3pt line; they don't even make it look like a double team.

San Antonio does this shit too...zbo never went one on one in the post against anyone bc there was always someone swiping at the ball...but he was never truly double-teamed. that shit had to be frustrating...and he looked & played frustrated.

I will let you guys be. You call him "His Airness" and act like him becoming a champion wasnt a "process" and that he never lost or bitched up in the playoffs. I understand your love and devotion to Michael Jordan. You've been buying his sneakers for 20 years and brainwashed into thinking volume shooting scoring guards are the be all and end all of basketball. I understand you guys only look at one dimension of Mike and ignore his obvious faults. I never said he wasnt an OG legend of the game or one of the best to ever pick up a basketball. Just said he aint LeBron and never will be. Thats not a strike, a lot of players will never be LeBron.

I've never called him that shit. I'm not talking about what everyone else does. I'm talking about what YOU do particularly. If you notice a pattern, anytime you and I discuss anything basketball related (which is less frequently as it's pointless) you are the first person to mention Michael Jordan. The last two times I mentioned Michael Jordan one of my two comments was "Michael Jordan needs to be laid to rest as the league has grown beyond him".

Dawg. You're way more obsessed with Jordan than anyone. You have him in your SIG!

Lebron is alright with me so it doesn't really bother me. But the level to which you have taken your zealotry is pretty incredible.

It hurts my feelings you think LeBron is better than Jordan. Why are you doing this to me. Please stop it.

:smh:

You dudes are so sensitive over MJ. Put the johnson & johnsons away and man up. When LeBron wasnt winning it was cool to bring MJ up to shit on LeBron, now that the shoe is on the other foot yall acting scary? Fuck that, no excuses, and no immunity. We're not comparing a bum to MJ, we're comparing LeBron James. You dudes go homotional when anybody say somebody is better than uncle tom MJ.

not to jump in but this is what people talking about bro.

he just said that he was ok with lebron and that he doesn't reference him like you do.

then you turn around and just come up with this shit.

do you currently work for mike or something?

does he talk down to you and you come on here and try to sully his name?

you can just piss in his lemonade man.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Man. I don't care if you think Lebron is better than Jordan. I was, along with GeneCisco, the first person on this board who even proposed the possibility in the first place...long before you were a fanboy.

It's just kind of funny how you've created your own name to call him and shit. I'm not mad. I'm laughing at you dawg. You're just trying too hard.

I had to switch it up man.

Me calling him "King", his nickname, was affecting people's self worth. It was fucking up their head to see a prominent black man addressed in such a respectable manner. If I called him LeBrick, LeChoke, or some other CAC creation, nobody would've complained or asked me to stop to do it. But addressing him with a word associated with royalty and something positive was making people angry. So I switched it up to Inkosi knowing most people wouldnt know what it was, but now its starting to hurt feelings again now that people are discovering its meaning.

.

I don't even mind the argument.I was one of the first ones on this board that said Lebron could end up being "better" than Jordan and that was years ago after he raped my Pistons in the playoffs. There is a legitimate argument for several players as better players than Jordan.

Dude is crazy though :lol::lol:

yea my stance has always been let it play out. let's see.

he isn't already better than jordan but his career isn't near done

so let's wait and see.

in the process don't try to distort history like the stats and video isn't there lol

maybe dude's in the 79's and 80's could do this to the dudes who praised 50's players cause there wasn't any footage lol
now though?

Let's see...
what about when Jason Terry told him to his face in MIAMI...' THIS IS MY CRIB, NIGGA!!!'... or when Deshawn Stevenson told him' TO WIPE THAT 3pt shot out of his eye.' IN every instance... I saw the SAME look...

Bottom line... I HOPE YOU DON'T GO OUTSIDE AND BITE SOMEBODY'S FACE OFF...

No I do not work for Mike man. I'm just a student of the game who doesnt hold this emotional bias towards him. I appreciate players LONG BEFORE Jordan, I appreciate BIG MEN of the game, so I'm not as caught up in his legacy as I guess most people.

Believe it or not there are a lot of people who dont see Mike as this God-like figure man (especially out here in NC). Not everybody is caught up in the "Nike campaign" that Jordan never lost or he never told a lie or never made a mistake. There are people who watched him his whole career who know that is BULLSHIT. He is not above reproach. I've dragged Kobe on this site for YEARS over his faults and shortcomings. I would be the biggest fraud and hypocrite in the world if I did not do the same for the man he seeked to emulate his whole career.

The difference is LeBron's faults and shortcomings get put on blast IMMEDIATELY and are eternal. Dudes try to hide Mike's or act like they never happened. It's fake, like some $50 Js.

Throw in the little subtle jabs, slick talk, and disrespect J has shown Inkosi when the kid has done nothing but respect him and his legacy, I could give 2 shits about Jordan. He is a sellout who only cares about himself, and anyone who isnt blinded by "marketing campaigns" and "the shoes of their youth" can see it.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Man. This dude has created a fictional name in which to praise Lebron all by himself, he has lebron as his avatar, and has in a disturbing way dedicated his sig to Lebron.... dude.... why even waste the time?... it would be like arguing with Bill Gates about how shitty Windows Vista was. He's not a just a fanboy he is leading the movement in a historical and zealous nature. He's borderline trolling with that Inkosi shit  Just let him be man.

I know... It's just every once in a while... You have to lay out facts... No more no less...

I used to do it to BLUNT all the time... Especially when it came to Sports and Music...

Blunt used to say STUPID shit... and I'd lay out the facts for him... and he'd cease and desist...

I think Taharqa doesn't know that I am one of the BIGGEST Lebron's supporters on this board... BUT... The facts are the facts... :dunno:
