Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Damn they lost again....

Lemme guess, Lebron had to shoot 40 shots to keep Miami in it again?

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

it does matter what indy does.

if indy does what they do then miami cannot play their game. that's the point.

if they run the offense from the inside then miami cannot get out in the open floor and run them out of the gym. that's why its crucial that they do it.

there isn't going to be a game where miami is running and gunning
and indy is taking their time and feeding the post slowing the tempo up. there isn't going to be a game like that. so their best BOTH won't be played which is the point.

whoever dictates their will, will win.

so when indy dictates it give them credit.

when miami dictates it give them credit

Indiana does not have the players to play their game to the point where they nullify the Heat. Hibbert is good but not dominant enough to carry them a series or even consecutive games.

but you get my point?

playing the best they could play and the heat not playing their best would mean the pacers were beating the heat at their own game and that the heat still being able to play their game will beat them which is true in all cases.

this is simply a style issue.

whoever imposes their will and style will win.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

He still got bosh and I don't think wade is done and what big weakness does wade have on offense besides his three point shooting ? I've seen him make all type of shots in his career no issue...

wade is hardly ever clutch on the big shots

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Good/competitive series so far.

lol@the foul calls that are being called on LBJ all of sudden. Shit is funny.

Due to the fact that a fundamental type team like the Spurs are in the finals...the NBA will need a team like Miami to make it to the next round in order to bring what many perceive as "excitement" to the final round. I would watch a Pacers vs Spurs finals..but lets keep it real..who really wants to see that? So yea....Indiana needs to stop letting the games stay so close near the end. When you allow the games to be that close at the end... it becomes open season for corruption.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

I can care less who win this series but reading the comments of all of the Heat fans crying about the refs cheating I'm like WTF. The Pacers best player has been in foul trouble the last 2 games but the refs are helping them. I'm hearing a lot of crying about Wade's play and how Lebron is doing it all but

Wade 5-15 16pts 6ast 3rbs
Lebron was 8-18 24pts 5rbs and 6ast

They stats are not to far apart. Heat fans so yaw won't lose and sleep over this series I'm gonna give you the spoiler. The Heat will win in a blowout in game 7 bc half of the Pacers player will be in foul trouble. They are keeping P George in foul trouble so people won't be shocked when he has 5 fouls in the 1st half of game 7.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

This is why hes out here hitting cats with flying elbows. He's frustrated at how ineffective he is and is lashing out.

He's a shooting guard who cant shoot bro. We've all seen and appreciated his heroics over the years but it was all based on friendly whistles after athletic moves to the cup. Sure he can hit a shot, but he cant "shoot". He's a very limited player at this point in his career. Bosh and a bunch of aging spare parts aint gonna get it done after this year man.

He sucks and he dont even know it.

I wouldn't go that far his career average is 50% from the field.. technically 49,but we round up.... he's not one of those 41 percent from the field guards

is his game perfect no ,but Besides the three and his style of play that leads to more injuries I don't see much major flaws

He only attempted one three pointer this postseason.. compared to 34 last season and shoot 29 percent from three

Jordan shot low 30's from the 3 pt him and d wade are very close in percentage

Not everyone is going to be reggie or ray allen

as a knicks fan really and truly wade is injured his stats from last year compared to this one ? playoffs wide is a big difference and he doesn't look the same right now...,but he's playing

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

wade is hardly ever clutch on the big shots

:hmm::lol::lol: wow... this 24/7 society makes people forget shit quick... :smh: look on youtube for the rest... I'm not a personal searcher fool

And many of the shots are "jumpers" and some very difficult shots in the clutch

Hell nowdays you'll have some players play great for some games and you will have some dumbasses say that player is better than someone who's been doing it for years ,but having a rough patch shit is crazy

Didn't Wade take over the 4th quarter of the 1st game and is really the reason they won even though he didn't get any credit for it? Yaw not giving the Pacers defense any credit.

I think a spurs vs pacers final would be awesome!

I'm a fan of team bball, not all that one on one, isolation, "melo" bball.

See, thats the thing. He IS one of those 41% guys. You are confusing shooting percentage with shooting ability. The two are totally different. The bulk of Wades points are from within the paint. He shoots about 60% from there. From 9feet on out he is an abysmal 38% shooter. Flat out awful.

Lets compare him to MJ here. It can get pretty ugly pretty fast. Also, stop concentrating on 3point prowess. That was never my point.

I dont want him to be either. Im pointing out the fact that his game is supreme limited when he cannot attack the basket and score in the paint or get to the line. Asking that the guy develop a jumper over the course of a decade isnt asking too much bro.

not many players today have developed their jump shot. the shit is pitiful.

I don't think the Pacers match up well against the Spurs. The Pacers make too many mistakes. Although I would mind seeing the series. I just don't think they are ready to take down a team like San Antonio.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Indiana does not have the players to play their game to the point where they nullify the Heat. Hibbert is good but not dominant enough to carry them a series or even consecutive games.

I'm really not understanding this... People act like the Heat have a team full of first ballot hall of famers! News flash, the difference between the Heat and the Pacers is LEBRON JAMES! That's it! To a man, based on players, there is no huge disparity of talent down the line...

When the Heat role players are hitting shots, they are tough to beat, but that's with any team! When they aren't, i.e. Games 2-4, they are an average team with a MAJOR superstar! And, if they aren't hitting, LeBron is not as effective. Where was his low post dominance in game 4? It was benched due to the bricks his role players were jacking up.

Let everyone believe it's a cake walk, like there is a magic elixir the Heat are going to drink and all of a sudden shots are going to suddenly consistently drop! Ray Allen is doing what humans due, he is getting old in front of our eyes, he is missing shots he used to make and he is a liability on Defense. Wade is showing the effects of 10 years of being Slash or Crash or whatever his nickname is, he's banged up as hell and a 13ppg average for the playoffs from a 'superstar' shows this. He's like Roy Jones when his skills STARTED to decline, and his game is being exposed. He was a great athlete with some skills who could just dominate athletically. Take away his athletic advantages, and the fundaments aren't there...

Now, there is consistent scoring expected from Battier? Haslem? Cole? Birdman? Yeah, that's a murders row there.

If I am a Heat fan I am more concerned that the Pacers were able to split 2 games with George being bottled up by foul trouble and playing like shit! All this conspiracy theory shit is for the birds... No one is talking about how George has been in foul trouble the past two games? Like if you are a superstar you should get a pass and just be able to run around fouling and shit and not have it called because you have 5 already? That's bullshit and an entitled mentality that has cost many a team!!!

Miami better wake up soon! There have been many upsets through the years and this has the potential to be another one....

Mark my words, all these dudes jumping up and down in this thread after this game will be bitching and moaning about calls tomorrow. Wade and Bosh needs to step the fuck up period! The whole heat team was horrible last night.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

The 6th foul was a good call...Only one problem. It was LeBron. (lol) That call has been made against Kevin Garnett for last couple of years and this year was the worst. Personally? The shit should never be called. Even so, if you're going to do it be consistent. Good series....

Great points but Vogal is also a difference. Not that Spo is Pat Riley but he has Pat Riley to assist. That's why I still have Miami going to the Finals. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It should be called if nothing else to prevent potential injuries.

this is why the reference to the heat being the "miami cavaliers" makes so much sense.

when the heat get down by a few points, the whole team minus wade says, "here lebron...you take the ball...we gon watch you do your thing-just like the crowd."

the heat transform from team bball to "melo" bball isolation plays...giving the pacers a much easier task: stop lebron instead of stopping the entire team.

You guys are hilarious the wade travel was a bad call so was the moving pick on King James..but hey the heat didn't loose the game because of that..getting out rebounded are killing them

Lot of oxymoronic views in this thread. The same dudes saying the refs had no effect and there is no conspiracy theory.... Are the same ones making proactive excuses talking about how the refs will give the Heat the rest of the series.

Did Indiana do a great job at execution? Yes. But to say the refs had no effect in crucial moments is ridiculous.

KG LEbron anybody. That should not be a star players 6th foul In a CF game. Period. Can you imagine fouling Jordan out on that?

Why is Jordan's name mentioned every few posts? See we can't blame the constant MJ comparisons on the media alone. smh

Jordan is the Mona Lisa or template that all great players are compared with. Lots of bad calls last night. The shot clock violation on Indy, the travel on wade...I tend to think they balance out. Miami should secure a rebound once in a while and this would be almost over

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Can you imagine fouling Jordan out on that?

Nope, he was coddled and protected from situations like that. Jordan won a game like that though, in the 1989 ECF Game 3 against the Pistons, Laimbeer being called for an "offensive foul" (with under a minute left) for setting too hard a screen on Jordan attempting to free up Dumars led to the FTs that gave the Bulls a 2 point win. I like the fact Inkosi is "human" and the refs dont coddle him like that.

Whats funny is, last year dudes loved using Uncle Tom-err Jordan's name any chance they could to tear down Inkosi. Now that we're seeing Inkosi consistently do things Jordan never did, his fans dont want us to bring him up no mo. :lol:

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Pacers big men 82 rebounds...Miami big men 32 rebounds in 4 games. Ray Allen has outrebounded Bosh in last 2 games. Coach Spo should call in Rodman and some of the Dolphins OL and run rebound drills all day today

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

:lol: Negro, what has James done that Jordan didn't or couldn't?

-Lead his team to 27 straight wins.

-Dominate games/the league shooting less and averaging less than 20 shots a game

-Close out a Finals with a triple double

-Have both a triple double and GAME WINNING SHOT in a playoff game

I could go on, but I'll stop there. :cool:
