against chicago they had open shots missed them and lost the game...

the shots aren't open this series... and they won't be. its the best 3 point defensive team in the nba... and miami thrives off of their 3's

maybe up to this point. but they have to turn a corner and i think they're about to do so.

like i said it wasn't raining 3's

hibbert didn't even get the ball late in the game.

and above everything else. the shooters aren't wide open..

they have people to match miami's energy players..

the only difference is lebron. lebron CAN do it

it's not going to be a clinic like the last 2 series.

like they have no answer for west or hibbert. and west didn't even play well...

i just think they can turn the corner, if they're consistent. we'll see though.

They're all a bit better this year on Indiana. Which lead me to believe this would be an even closer series than last year. However, Bosh was OUT last season against Indiana.

Miami hasn't even really put a good quarter together yet and although Indiana plays the best perimeter defense in the league... Miami is also missing wide open shots. I've seen chalmers, battier, allen, and Nole get wide open threes and just miss. Eventually those shots are going to drop and it can be contagious (as OKC about last year in the finals).

Largebills... you've watched enough ball to know that all it takes is a couple to go down. NBA players don't need to be white fucking open to make shots. They're just missing. Shit... Ray Allen can't even making free throws right now. They're due for a good shooting night. You should know how this shit goes. Shit.. they had a similar start to the series with Indiana last year.

difference is the passes aren't there. sure they could have a great shooting night but they won't be as open as they're accustomed.

im not saying anything about them not being able to have a night that's good or even win the series

however i don't see indiana playing out of their minds right now. they're not. they're playing good. and the people playing bad for miami i don't see them getting incredibly better.

Completely agree. For Indiana to beat a team like Miami they have to play above average. That is the corner they are turning.

The defense is too strong. Indy shoot high percentage causd they take high percentage shots.

I felt before the series, Indiana had to win the battle at the 1 & 4. Hill/Augustin is winning that battle & the Heat have no answer for West. Even though he didn't have a good night, he bodied the shit outta Battier & Haslem is looking done. Lewis is going to have to play. Maybe he can get some minutes on the floor & maybe provide some scoring.

It was a given that Hibbert would win his battle. Wade has been a let down, which is hurting the Heat. They can't win this series with only one guy scoring over 20. If the Pacers stay with it, they will expose the flaw in the Heat's roster design.

If Ray Allen makes a free throw that game doesn't even go to overtime. Like I said, Miami is due for a good shooting game. Their shooters won't continue to show 12 percent from three dawg. Statistically, Miami isn't likely to play any worse than they already have. Even your boy Barkley was saying it was lights out if Indiana didn't win one of these games considering how well they've played and how shitty Miami has.

Wade has been a let down, which is hurting the Heat.

This is the real problem because Wade puts a lot of pressure on the defense when he is attacking but clearly his knee is bothering him. It makes Miami a lot less dynamic....also.. Wade can also force a lot of turnovers that get Miam in transition...shit..Wade has often been their best shot blocker and the player who grabs the rebounds that Bosh doesnt... but he can't give them that extra right now.
