[GunHeadz] Beretta PX4 Storm

What is the trigger pull on that joint? I almost pulled the trigger on a full sized 9mm version, however after finger fucking one @ the LSG I decided against it.

What is the trigger pull on that joint?

It all depends on if you are firing double or single, first shot will be double action (unless you pull the hammer back manually) and all following are single action with a significant reduction in trigger pull.

"Double-action trigger pull measured about 9 pounds with about an inch of travel before it tripped the sear. In single-action mode the trigger had about 1/4 inch of take-up before it tripped the sear at just under 4 pounds."

My wife got me the regular size 40 for my birthday last year...love it! Easier to handle, shoot, and more accurate aim than my Ruger SR9 9mm

I have one in .40SW. I love it...its what I carry most often...I usually carry in my waste band at my lower back and I know it sounds funny...but the gun tends to sweat a bit there....I dont like carrying my steel framed guns there because they will rust...This is the only polymer framed gun that I have and I dont have to worry about the sweat.

9lb trigger? Hell nah and a 4lb trigger in single action? Super pass

^This is what steered me away from the PX4, and the long ass travel... I sold my Sig P250 for the same reasons. I have a Beretta Nano, I'm running through the paces, the trigger is gritty as hell. I'm going to do a polish job on the internals, when time allows........

I couldnt really focus on what he was saying cus I was waiting for the gun to go off next to his face. Am I the only one who noticed how he checked it to make sure it was safe then two seconds later he pops the mag in n loads one into the chamber :eek: Waving that boy around like it was empty

That was a empty magazine.

What pistol has a outta the box trigger pull less than 4 lbs?

My Les Baer 1911 has a 4 lb trigger pull, it doesn't count as it was ordered with this custom option. I think some of my gen 2 & 3 Glocks came with a 5 lb TP outta the box. Most times anything less than 4.5 - 4 lbs are for comp guns....

Thats what I'm saying, these cats talking like a 4 lb. trigger is outta the question.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Glock like 5.5 lbs out the box? Also if you want the 3lb trigger its cheap to buy and something you can do in 15 minutes. Fuck out of here acting like 9 and 10 lbs is normal.

Yeah, Glocks come with 5.5lbs triggers from the factory. The PX4 looks nice but I'd never give up my Glocks, they have been super reliable for me!

The 9 lb. trigger pull is only in double action, that is only for the first shot (if you don't pull the hammer back), after that every shot is at 4 lbs (single action).

We are talking hammer fired vs. striker fired.

I prefer the heavy trigger for the first shot, I don't like striker fire pistols but that is just personal preference.

Anyway dowhatchulike.

i love beretta pistols, and i am super accurate with the 92 F. one day at the range, i fired 64 rounds thru the pistol and on round 65, the entire trigger mechanism 'blew up.'

beretta took the gun in... fixed it... and even sent me a few extra mags. but i sold it.

btw, i've been shooting glock pistols since 1989, and i own 6 of them:

model 17 & 19 (dad carries the 17, i carry the 19 concealed)
model 20 - 10 mm
model 27 & model 35 (my competition pistol)
model 30 - subcompact 45 acp (home protector with my mossberg 12 gauge).

by the backdoor, i keep the snake charmer (410 shotgun).

i changed all my trigger pulls to 3# where i could... took less than 15 min per weapon.

for those asking about reliability... don't discuss it on bgol, go to a gun range and discuss it with the owner. they will tell you which ones are always getting repaired.

i've owned several pistols, and even though i'm most accurate with the beretta pistols, i've LEARNED to be just as accurate with the glocks.

my experience with that trigger mechanism on the beretta was enough for me. i'm not knocking the company... but there are like 18 pieces to JUST the trigger mechanism. i think the glock only has 31 or 33 pieces to the entire gun.

btw, i have no clue why y'all are worried about a gun's looks. i don't give a flying fuck if i own the 'ugliest' gun ever made. it has one purpose, and when i need it, it BETTER do that job reliably.

...the fuck is a 'pretty' gun???

Listen to this man he is blessing you guys with some great advice.

I have put over 1000 rounds through my GLOCK 22 GEN 4 and my shit never had any hick ups at all.

Many talk about GLOCK but I have yet to see one from the factory unmod ever fuck up

so then y are u crying about the trigger pull on the handgun in question.

if its a cheap 15 min job to get it exactly how u want, it shouldnt matter how it comes out the box right?

1,000 rounds??? thats it?? cheap bastid!!!!!!!:smh:

my typical range session is around the 400-600 round mark, with several 1,000+ round days here and there.........:D

feed your Glock, feed it!!!!!

Listen man, I own a lot of firearms. Including five handguns. A Glock 26 and 30, Taurus P40, Sig Sauer P229, and Beretta PX4. And in a few more days a SA XD Sub Compact 3. I feel whats most important is how YOU feel about YOUR firearm. Not what anyone else says or what THEY think YOU should do with it. As long as you feel comfortable with it, nothing else matters. Run some ammo through it, give yourself a chance to get used to it. After that, if you feel something is lacking have a PROFESSIONAL look at it. If your not experienced, or had formal training(school, military, police) DO NOT FUCK WITH THE TRIGGER cause some internet personality said so.

Having said that, I've owned my PX4 for a little over year. I've fired at least
2000 rounds through it. With no issues. No real modifications, except for adding the laser/led and slimmer factory grip. For ME its a good weapon. Bout to take it to the range in a few minutes.
