{--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 4 - Pacers 3--}

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

I'm saying

Now I know Spo had to deal with foul issues throughout this game but I still think he had to make better decisions about his bigs.

And Wade/Paul George. Its too early in the morning for me to get into that

that last play was the only decent thing he drew up

before that everything was run a curl and hope for the best.

this was too but it was immediately better because you gave it to the best player in the world.

down 1 or 4 you give it to him.

paul george is motherfucking beast.

he aint scared and he gone keep beasting..dude is good as fuck. granger is gone.

i actually think granger was the source for the moistness on the pacers.

we still have to see if they grew a pair. can't tell from tonight
but is great to see good basketball again

over/under 1 foul for lebron next game

3 for hibbert next game
west missed them ft's and that bunny. cost em.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

I wouldn't be surprised now the Heat sweep this series

To know the whistle been on your side all night hit a big shot to send it to OT hurts

The fact that the Heat weren't rattled or didn't panic at all is bad news for the pacers

i don't see a sweep

believe it or not. with this team..the difference is lebron.
the pacers aren't really that much worse than you guys like the bulls and bucks were.

it just remains to be seen if they have the heart to do it.
also the coach has to be the difference...

like i always say. when you have the #1 you can get away with shit

that only applies to the #1 everyone else needs to coach their ass off

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

i liken it to when a DB gets burned man on man in a final play.

if his man gets behind him, he eats the defensive pass interference instead of risking a TD.

with a 1 pt lead, i'm OK with putting an opponent on the FT line to have to make both to win.

lebron james was only 4-7 FTAs in G1, so why not?

yup you take the p.i. put the pressure on lebron..i think he would have made them but you make him shoot them.

that's coaching too.

"yo don't over pursue him hibbert isn't in

and

as soon as he makes his move foul him and put him on the line"

a layup? :smh:

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

George had Lebron in check on offense and defense from the beginning of the 4th up to the last play when he over played him and It was to the point where Lebron wouldn't shoot when George was on him. They took Lebron off of George and put Wade on him bc Lebron couldn't check him. Even though he still avoided shooting a jumper it's nice to see he didn't sit around and wait for 1 of his teammates to take the last shot.

Lebron was held in check by George:confused:

Having 30pts and a triple double is being held in check these days?

I don't see a sweep either however I wouldn't be surprised if there is one

That game was a back breaker for the Pacers

The whistle was on their side all night, refs did their best to give that game to the pacers and they still fucked it up....

Heat are going to keep attacking the paint just to get Roy in foul trouble that's the key.. Keep him off the floor and the flood gates open

coach pop showed us all how to shut down lebron:

every defender will have 1 ft in the lane to help. make the heat take jumpers. period.

on that out of bounds play last night, San Antonio would have had 2 or 3 mofos clogging the lane. I have no clue wtf Indiana tried to do...dat shit was stupid! ! !

under 3 seconds, coaches can live with a loss by a jump shot...but NEVER by a layup. never. at least foul the mofo...something! !

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

I think this team has the TALENT to give Miami a run for their money...

...but, mentally, you can just see they're out of their comfort zone. They're not ready yet.

Miami has a certain swagger that comes from 'been there, done that'. You can see the lack of confidence in a lot of the REALLY dumb plays Indiana made down the stretch.

That being said, they will get a game or two.

Man stop smoking sherm

You talking about the Lebron that took the bum ass cavs to the finals?

Aye bruh the Miami Lebron is light years better than the Cavs Lebron

Coach pop or any coach for that matter can't game plan for this Lebron

Niggas weren't lying last year she. They said he finally figured it out.

Replace Lebron with Kobe in that situation and Kobe would have taken the jumpshot with no hibbert in the game :lol:

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

Good game last night...Unlike the Bulls who won the first game Indiana simply played like they always have...Indiana's decision to remove Hibbert cost them...I don't see that mistake happening under that situation for the rest of the series after their Coach spends the next day or two getting insulted like a mutha....Heat in 7.

Dude really brought up a finals that was played YEARS ago? :smh:

He still talk about the Spurs like its the 07 version...this Spurs team is very, very good offensively and very mediocre defensively. Exactly the opposite of those Spurs teams that won all those championships.

All the respect in the world for Pop tho. Great coach.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

You mean missed :lol:

It is what it is.

Lebron plays the game 'the right way'. That's good for Lebron, and good for Miami.

I like Kobe's risk-taking nature. Sure, it makes him less efficient, and more turnover prone...

...but, it sure looks good when it works out.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

after that game winnin shot Lebron was lookin round like "Where that lil bitch at that made the choke sign?"

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

Honest Vogal had to pick his poison

Put Hibbert in Bosh would be right there waiting or that open 12 or 15 footer..

Leave Hibbert out and u get Lebron layup drill

Lmaoooo

These are the game situations that the big 3 saw, before coming together. The coach did the right thing, he trusted George to guard Lebron and focused on playing Bosh tight.

Miami coach is the one y'all should question, this draws up nice plays when he decides to.
He could truly force Inddy's hand, by pick and rolling all game.

With

Starters:
Chamlers/bosh
Wade/Bosh
Wade/James

Bench
CoLe/Anderson
Allen/Anderson
James/Anderson
James/Haslem

That shit would force the pacers to go zone...

{--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

BDR, you and I talked about the Bosh effect. He didn't do anything in the stat sheet but his presence alone forced Vogal to alter his lineup at the end. Thus, two easy layups for Bron. Like I said the last three years, Bosh is the key.

I'm still rooting against you cats (vs the Spurs) with every ounce of hate in my bones. Not against the Pacers though. If they play idiotic one more game, I hope they get swept.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

You can't stop lebron

You can't stop Durant

That's proven.

Pacers don't need to stop lebron. Limit the others and they can win.

That david west shane match up ain't going nowhere.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

Pacers need better ball security from their PGs to avoid getting swept and no way is my best defensive presence on the bench with 2.2 left on the clock.

Spo seemingly cant decide how he wants to play West.I am saying play West with size and force him to pass out with the double ever so often or switch his defender and make him have to take different looks.

And people keep harping on this Hibbert at the end thing.

You never noticed that Popovich does the same thing with Duncan fairly often.

Heat had 60 points in the paint.Getting into the teeth was the least of their concerns

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

an underappreciated factor

Norris Cole harasses the hell out of opposing pg's

60 in the paint. How many were layups? 60 don't matter. We talking about 4 to win the game.

I agree with size on west. cause shane just can't do it. especially since he doesn't put any real pressure on west on the offensive end.

Hibbert isn't duncan and Vogul isn't pop. he needed to have hibbert in there even if it was to alter the shot. you can't give up a layup for a game winner. any jumper is acceptable. even a wide open 3 pointer.
that still has more of a chance to miss than a layup.

see that's misdirection. the heat got to the rim and scored on dishes and other things but the deterrent was there. they dished took advantage of slow rotations etc... it made a huge difference.

lebron doesn't get an easy layup if he's in. 58 points don't matter. the last two were unacceptable.

spo is finally seeing what i've been saying for a couple years now.

slowly the tide is turning.

i might not be right immediately

BUT

give me time. they usually see what i'm seeing.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--}

Easy drives to the lane for wins, a la easy rides to tiles and mvp's.
Seems about right.
