Star Trek Into Darkness...100% FIRE!!!

Great film! A very worthy sequel! Saw it yesterday in IMAX 3D and it was worth every penny!

Oh and that Dreadnought-Class Starship:itsawrap:

Very VERY good movie. I'm a trek fan and I LOVED it. It's worth every dollar you'll spend.

Alright you said the magic words, "I'm a Trek Fan" so I'm assuming that means you wouldn't cosign a mockery.

Hmmm,

Theaters are likely packed tonight and I personally want to avoid large crowds never know when the next crazy ass muther wants to shoot the bitch up.

I was never a Star Trek fan but after watching the 2 new films within a week of each other...I might have to go back and watch the old one....

I envy if you've never watched any of the series and now start watching them from the beginning. It's some special intelligent, well written, theme-driven, deep stuff man....

Either-way unlike the Iron man3 reviews I've read enough from the reviews here on ST to go and see it now.

The first Iron Man is definitely better than the Avengers.

And this is from a life long Avengers fan.

The only place the first Iron Man lost me was the bad guy (can't remember his name at 1:30AM) had no problem flying the suit. Tony was all over the place when he first tried to fly the suit and it was really realistic. IDK if it was better than Avengers, but it was damned near neck and neck. No, you're right, but Avengers was damned good, too.

The movie was amazing...interesting how a movie set in 2250 can be non-stop intergalactic action but still be more realistic than fast and the furious 6.

When I was a kid I thought Star Trek was dumb as hell and then a few years ago,I was up all night and Star Trek was on and I decided to watch it,I thought it was pretty good...

I end up watching a few episodes, before I decided to go to bed....:lol::lol:

Of all the shows that preached morality, Star Trek was far ahead in that genre. If youre talking about the graphics, well they were cash strapped and it was the 60s.

About to go and see it today sometime between 1pm and 4pm. Why?
Because:

1) Doubt a possible gunman wants to waste his bullets on 10 people in the theater around that time.

2) I don't recall what movie it was I went to see during the popular hours(9pm-11pm), But when you get alot of 14-24yrs in the same place:smh: Mutherfukers started a big ass fight in the lobby of the theater complemented by multiple smaller fights in the parking lots outside.

To make matter worst when things finally settled down, so you thought, the beef started again in the middle of the fucking movie?

FUCK THAT SHIT....

Exactly. The special effects were horrible and cheesy because they were broke and in the 2nd and 3rd seasons the network withheld cash from them. That's why they did lots of period pieces like in the Roman days and western days or staying on the ship which was a cheap set.

There is a whole lot to the behind the scenes story. Writing was superb especially in the first season. By the third season even the writing began to suffer on many of the shows.

The movie was good, Imax 3D was worth the money, I liked the acting of Sherlock Holmes, but I was expecting a totally new story line and villain... so I give it a 7/10.

Who is fighting at Star Trek ? Some Vulcans and Ferengi dressed up geeks! I'd pay for that over a mayweather fight for the spectacle

i am still pissed off about iron man 3...that shit was so bad, i don't feel like paying 20 dollars again till superman comes out.

Peace Rock,

It was good.

*** MILD SPOILERS ***

Uhura came through as a badass. She described their impossible situation and then said . . . wait, maybe I can pull something out my ass . . . on some angry ass Klingons!

The Klingons. I miss their battle theme in the movies, they were over all . . . Meh.

The comic relief was perfect, without being overtly nerdy.

The film is highly predictable with heavy foreshadowing.

The bright red and white photon torpedoes in the, " Archive ". ( Which I thought might contain Genesis devices ).

The Dreadnaught class model on the admiral's desk.

WTF is up with rogue star fleet admirals, they are ALWAYS trying to use some subterfuge to start a war with SOMEBODY!:lol::lol: Dominion, the Maquis, Klingons, Romulans!

The only true fail . . . KHHHAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!

You get to recreate one the most iconic Sci-fi film scenes and that was the best KHAN scream you can come with!

:hmm::smh:

THAT shit is gonna haunt JJ Abrams & that glee muthafucka Zachary Quinto for decades.

1/2 the film could of sucked if they JUST got that right!

Having not watched the series puts you in a good spot to see great TV. Watch the series ENTERPRISE, The original Star Trek, Star Trek: TNG, Deep Space Nine, and then Voyager.

Stop going to films in the hood or near the hood. I learned my lesson years ago. Now I go to a better theater that has a dress code, requires 21 or older after 8pm, and has reserved seating arrangements.

I thought Iron Man was better than The Avengers. And enjoyed Star Trek more than Iron Man. I hope After Earth doesnt break the cycle.

Ok number 1 whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Avengers was that shit! I would put them in this order

#1 Avengers
#2 IronMan
#3 Captain America: the first Avenger
#4 Thor/the Incredible Hulk
#5 IronMan2/3

The star Trek movies are bette rthan the IronMan joints. And after Earth will be fire!

Question :

Who was the black bald chick on the bridge? I seen here somewhere...is that a slimmed down Frenchie? Or someone else? This shit is plaguing me.
