Mich St. recruit, says no...wants to rap

Mac Schools or JC's. He's still got options if this doesn't work out in the next year or so. That being said it looks like he's got poor guidance so it probably won't work out on either end.

A Michigan State spokesman said it was “a mutual decision.”

Translation: We decided we're not giving you this scholarship to come here anymore. We will say it was mutual so you can still have a chance at a JUCO and you won't look too bad but you won't be playing for us.

somebody can fart and get 50,000 views on youtube... if dis guy thinks dats a true accompolishment than he obvious got low expectations in life..hell dat should be da name of his first albulm i'm pretty sure it go double wood off da title alone

Here are all of his videos. Only one of the nine has 50k views because SI linked it last week. The next most popular has around 1000 views and most of those clicks probably came from SI lurkers. :smh:

IMO, this guy just intentionally threw away a free ride to college, and to be honest he has ZERO legitimate talent as a potential rapper. It's just like all of these thirsty chicks posting IPhone duckface selfies on Instagram who now think they are going to be the next Tyra Banks. Who the f*ck is advising this child? This is so sad...

He didn't choose this..Got his offer pulled because he decided to be a dumbass in the music video..:smh::smh:

You might win some but you really lost one. You just lost one. What a dumb dumb.

Dude has to learn that until your dream comes true Stick with the road you are on that pays. I got a government job in hate it And I want to be a writer, but right now that job pays the bills until the writing thing comes through. If the writing thing never comes true I still make 50 grand a year (midwest money) and live a decent life. However, When I finish the book It gets published And they give me a bonus I can tell my boss like Scarface told his boss And half baked...fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, and fuck you! Im out. Until then I work the government job... that I hate
...damn.:smh:

Exactly. Caught this news mid afternoon today!

I guess he think if you go to college you can't be a street nigga. Another nigga with no brains and a mixtape.

I don't think this decision is as idiotic as you make it to be. What percentage of the Michigan State Football team graduates from college? What percentage of those graduates get decent careers? I'm guessing the percentages are very small. The bottom line is that this dude probably wasn't going to graduate anyway and instead of getting pimped(yes pimped) out by Michigan State, he chose to follow his dreams.Looking at that video, he is horrible rapper, but he also seems really slow and just as much of a longshot to graduate, interview and get a decent career anyway.

:hmm:.. I wish him the best of luck!! However, someone should've told young blood, he can rap, play football and go to school at the same time!! Anyway...

Multitasking... What a concept!

 Let's see, he just said "No Thanks" to $130k + in scholarship money, a chance to earn a degree on someone else's dime, plus the chance to get in the Pro Draft, or a viable career off the field, to throw the dice in the rap game?

:smh::smh::smh:

You got a point there, there is nothing wrong following your dreams
but he needs to be more realistic. For the sake of argument, he may or may
not graduate from college but if he went to MSU or any other university,
just think of the possible networking connections that he may have garnered.
He could established a good rapport with fellow students who may be the
next lawyer, accountant, or even music producer.

Look at rapper COMMON he went to Florida A&M, he didnt graduate but
he did use his college experience to network with people

Yeah it does seem like the campus officials made the
decision for him but if he really wanted to attend MSU,
he could've protested. He could have stated a premise
that he was just expressing his 1st amendment rights.

I hope someone can shake some common sense into him
because life has a way of fucking you over,
if don't plan well on your career path:smh:.

Also to note, I swear to God if I hear
another lame rap lyrics with molly in it
I am gonna flipped the fuck out

True but I'm sure the biggest red flag was the fact that it looked like he was smoking weed in the music video. Maybe he wasn't, but do you really want those headaches?
