I'm realistic in the sense that I KNOW WE'RE NOT A CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDING YET... BUT... We're a lot closer than we've been in a LONG... LONG TIME...
Truth be told... I'm really interested in what we do in the OFF-SEASON... AND 2015... Especially in 2015...

Melo should ask to be traded to Chicago. We have a history of making NYers better. Jordan, Phil Jackson, Noah, Bulls FO, etc... I guarantee he will consistently get 6th man of the year.

Vandy you're my man 100 grand, but I'm being realistic and not one for moral victories. The goal is to beat the Heat and win a chip. The ECF would be an assessment as to where we need to improve to do that. However if we can't beat the Pacers who can't beat the Heat then we have much much more to do.
So that is my analysis and understanding that we have limited means to get FAs thanks to Amar'e's contact.

I have many criticism for this team.. and I absolutely DO NOT LIKE THIS SEASON IS ENDING... BUT... At the same time... I have to be honest with myself...
Looking at our roster... Especially with 'Sheed and Kurt gettin' hurt...
I'm also NOT giving Woody a pass... I HATED how he used Copeland this year...
JR has been GOD AWFUL FOR THE ENTIRE PLAYOFFS...
I'm starting to get tired of Tyson...
AND... as a team.... We don't have a lot of versatility amongst the players... A lot of guys are ONE DIMENSIONAL...
... And we've got a lot of improvements to make...
I just don't care about the ECF, if we don't have a chance to advance pass that...
Right now... even if a miracle happens and got beat Indy... WE HAVE NO SHOT AGAINST MIA...

Knicks don't pose a threat in the post chandler can only dunk he can't shoot jumpers like Bosh when you have the ability to draw big men away from the paint to defend you it opens up the lane or wing for quick lay-ups to the basket then once the defense starts to defend the paint area it opens it up for your perimeter shooters but even at that the Knicks still cant get a shot to fall what the Knicks need to do after their season is over is have a meeting in the garden fill up the whole arena with dynamite and blow the whole thing up including players,staff,and owner

you do have it in melo. if the coach would instruct him to post up whoever he's on which he could and then IF they double teamed him pass it to a cutter or dish it back out then the offense would be smoother.
it makes sense to give melo the ball with options. as of now he gets it and he has to create. then if its not there, there is no help for him to bail out of it. that goes for everyone.
the rest stand around when felton has it and wait for him to make something out of nothing.

people keep saying the ball is sticking and they need to move it more... i don't think that's the problem. the problem is the players stick. even if they played hot potato with the ball it would just be flying around the top of the key and behind the 3 point line until one rotation was too slow and then they'd shoot the 3...

The Pacers were one of the best at keeping people off the three this season(I will go search for the stats) so some of what is going on this series is not a surprise
