yea i dont think the 4.1 vs 4.2 is that different but if htc doesnt get the new version when it drops that'd be fucked up for anybody that cares bout that stuff. shouldnt have to jump thru hoops or void warranty for the latest version.
htc one looks more solid than any android phone ever tho. hope samsung takes some notes n ups the quality.

Htc one is nice as shit. It's actually pretty tough too. There's a couple people at work who rock the one and love it. I played with one at a retail location and was impressed by it. If it wasn't for my special relationship with Samsung, I'd think about switching.

I wouldn't count on that. The same people who claim that the turnaround for Key Lime Pie on the S4 are the same ones who keep flip flopping on if it will be called 4.3 or 5. There isn't even a guarantee that it will be released at IO.

hard to believe that a "next generation" or flagship phone would still not offer expandable memory. i kind of get enclosed battery IF the battery life backs it up but man let the Apple biting go, they can keep that bullshit

thats what i was thinking but i starting to lean the other way. Right now i'm running android 4.2.2 on my old school evo with a 32gig sd card. can't see myself ever needing more than 32gigs on a cell phone...
I desperately need HTC to start upgrading their phones with the latest firmware. These companies that don't do this are surely slacking when it comes to offering the best of android. My damn HTC Droid DNA, which I love, surely needs 4.2.2 and Sense 5. I can't root my phone because I bought it from a guy off cragislist and he upgraded the firmware to the latest, 4.1.2. is not the same as 4.2.2.

Ive had HTC I think its S.... First one Froze crazy turn it in.. Get another one. Drop it with case screen shatters.... They send me a new (refurbished one), out the box doesnt work. Turn it in. New one I drop it in case again and bam screen is cracked.

Like the hardware but as long as they implement sense through the whole OS i'll never buy another one. You never get the full potential out of the phone because sense is so laggy and memory intensive..even with the newer processors. Run a live wallpaper and use a memory intensive app and that bitch slows to a crawl.

all i owned were htc phones till my note 2. their build quality is top notch.would have gotten another but they going away from sd cards and removable battery so i passed on the one s and x last year. and my last two once that processor gets to rolling they get hot and burn battery like a crackhead in the heat. hell somedays the battery was smooth for a day and another day i look up i'm at 30 percent by one pm and havent did a lot of taxing work on it. great phone but they still skimping on the battery

Hate you. I've been an HTC stan for a long time but they had let me down. I love my Nexus 4 but I wanna come home to the HTC One.
