No encore this time. Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in Atlantic City, which opened its doors in October 2005, is officially closed for business.

Not only was its lease up this past October, but Superstorm Sandy also battered the venue, leaving a hole in the roof. New Jersey got the brunt of the damage from Sandy, causing $37 billion in damage.

"With the end of the lease and with Sandy, we decided we had a great run, and it was time to move on,” spokesperson Ron Berkowitz told The Press of Atlantic City.

If you’re looking to bottle-pop in the Tri-State, just hit up Hov’s other 40/40 locations in Manhattan or Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center.

i hear they all wack

Depends on what your seeking. It's really a sports bar that people try to make into a club atmosphere. The one in chelsea is a hit or miss and the one in barclay is really just for the games. The one in AC was just super ratchet the few times I went
