What do you Heat fans think of a possible match up against the Pacers in the Payoffs? It was a very exciting series last year.

I like the way this Pacer team play defense. The test for them will be finishing against Miami. The Heat is one of those team that you have to play until time is out.

They play the Heat well, the pacers would blowout the heat everytime when you factor in
Spo crazy rotations
Bosh not being affective
Weak defense
No bench production

The same as last year, great matchup

-The pacers play the same and feel they let the Heat of the hook...
-The heat play great against pressure and come playoff time could be much better, if Anderson is inserted into the starting lineup...

True. Spo definitely need to learn better rotations, but the defensive is unacceptable for a championship team.

Maybe the Heat picked up too much finesse and not enough toughness.

Heat are a different team come the playoffs, the real season. This inconsistent play is a result of Spo experimenting with diff rotations looking for weaknesses and strengths seeing who reacts to who when they on the floor together. They'll be alright Pacers aren't all the way there yet.

It is too early to tell how effective Anderson will be. Trust is something he is going to have to earn from the team, especially in tight situations. Granted he plays hard and tough, which is why I think he would serve a higher purpose coming off the bench. When the shots are not falling it has to be made up on defense, by getting stop or creating turnovers.

The Heat will def play better in the playoffs, but there is no need to pick up bad habits during the regular season.

Spo along with his fucked up rotations and the refs lost this game for the Heat

Funny he puts in Bird at the 5 like I said and bosh at the 4 with bron wade to fill it out and Indiana ain't score shit

Smh

I don't know, burh. Spo has drop the ball on some telling games (Warriors, Celtics, and Pacers) recently. Inconsistency gets teams in trouble because they get complacent (i.e. Pistons post championship). Though, this team is still fairly new (as far as off-season pick ups) it makes me wonder how much are they going to rely on LB?

Playing hard is something that should be brought whether the coach is experimenting or not. The Heat does not play hard in long spurts this season. They win mainly on prestige and experience.

What y'all like with the starting 5 being

Charmers
Wade
Bron
Bosh
Bird

Bench
Cole
Ray
Shane
Haslem
Anthony

Always looks that way after a loss or during a bad stretch, they probably not even gonna see the Pacers come playoff time. They are doing fine by me.

That works. That starting five is an effective defensive team although they loose the 3 point shooting threat. The bench is pretty regular. Miami is most dynamic offensively with LB playing point forward, but they also loose size/rebounding. Wade and Chalmers is the wild card. I already know Wade don't want to come off the bench, but I think Ray would serve better in that starting 5 than Wade. That's just my opinion though. Ray plays well defensively enough and shoots way better. LB is essentially going to be the facilitator regardless who is in the line up. Wade coming off the bench make the Heat more dangerous. That is no diss to Wade though.

Actually can't wait for playoffs the east got 5 good teams and the west got 4 those second round match ups are going to be great this year

I said eventually Birdman should start over Udonis.

Chris Andersen 4-4 FG | 1-1 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 9 PTS | +0
GRADE B+
As outlandish as it might seem, the Heat are better off starting the Birdman alongside Chris Bosh. Basically signed off the street and now on his second 10-day contract, Andersen's energy and ability to finish around the rim stand out with Miami getting very little of either from other "bigs" on the roster. Andersen has distinguished himself while getting into shape.

I hope spo recognized the success of bird at the 5 and bosh at the 4

I hope the heat sign oden

If that happens its a wrap for all these suspect ass teams

Fixed.

I knew Birdman was good pickup because he runs the floor and is the energy player yall need. His strength work with Miami's big 3.

Just keep that dude away from the nose candy.

Bird went 4-4 from the field... He is exactly who MIA need in that middle..

when him and bosh had the front court.. the pacers couldn't score for shit once bird went out spo should have put in Anthony...
