I'm going to disagree with that one small part: I dont think Kanye is even slightly "out there". Everything he does is a calculated move to garner attention. Some cats are just different types of dudes (Andre 3000 for instance) and when they go hard left, I'm not surprised but with West, it's all about getting some talk on messageboards (success!) and being a "Hot Topic" on The View.
