who here thinks jmm is on the juice that looks like its going to be the excuse that manny and arum will use

who here thinks jmm is on the juice that looks like its going to be the excuse that manny and arum will use

irony

jmm said he going to beef up...

Arum and Pac said they never took anything which was a complete fuckin lie cause it was evident in Pac's last fight against JMM

Did you see the shot? Not too many fighters surviving a punch like that.

Fact - Marquez has thrown shots like that at Pacquiao. Their second fight. Look it up. Pacquiao barely flinched. Marquez has not being known for his knockout prowess..this was something outta left field.

perfect yes...but he put Pac on his ass earlier in the fight too...I'm not saying he's on the juice, I'm just saying he never did that before...he's now 39...he has packed on a lot of muscle...and has a new trainer that is known for giving people the juice. Do we need really need Gil Grissom for this one?

Not like Pacman has an iron chin either. Getting hit like that would put anyone down. Boxers always tell you it is the ones you don't see coming that are the worst... Pacman just got caught way out of position and at the very wrong time man on that KO.

who here thinks jmm is on the juice that looks like its going to be the excuse that manny and arum will use

use the excuse that he got hit with a punch square in the face at the right time and got knocked out

pac said the right thing.
he got overconfident
he thought he actually got him
was careless
and got demolished.

Marquez vs mayweather 2?
Nobody but Marquez would be interested in that. People want to see Mayweather in there with someone they think can beat his ass, that's why a fight with alvarez or Sergio Martinez are the biggest fights that can be made.

that faggit lampley crying because his man got knocked the fuck out . theres a reason they ran from marquez for yrs and why they ducked mayweather

This.....

when asked who was the better fighter between Floyd and Manny, Marquez said Floyd without a doubt....(skip to 2:10 mark)

***edit***
What he said was you need 2 fighters at the same time to fight Floyd.....DAYUM!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXGVeFDITlk&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Floyd is a counter puncher....the more punches thrown, the more opportunity Floyd has to counter. If they fought, Floyd may not get the KO, but he would out class and out box manny from start to finish. He is way faster than Marquez and his defense is 2nd to none......it would be almost unwatchable by the 4th or 5th round because Floyd's defense and countering would have manny frustrated....

This guy is NOT in Floyd Mayweather class....

Folks...the Mayweather/Pac fight was never going to happen. Floyd knew this...man...so why would he be sick.

There aren't many fighters that have been hit that flush and walked away from it. You don't see flush right hands with the opponent coming into it out of position like Pacman was. That type of punch has never been landed in any of their previous 3 fights.

Mayweather not known for knocking mofo's out but he did it too Hatton?

now mofos want to question why JMM knocked out manny? Manny walked right into that shit

He could picked up the biggest purse in the history of boxing.

Even if they fight, they ain't gonna make what they were projected to a couple years ago.

I think this is so shocking because they reported that JMM used one of the trainers that was investigated during the whole baseball steroids thing.

There's no question about the Knockout punch. However, Juan did himself no favors having that guy in your team.

Pac was too aggressive, and got caught.

Canelo is super legit. Canelo will get more exposure, no question. But as of now? --> He's still unknown to many casual fans.
He's as well known as Ortiz was before the Mayweather fight and that fight did very well.

now i wouldn't mind seeing a timothy bradley vs marquez in march or april

Funny how people are hinting that JMM could've taken roids while Manny is the one rumored of using em

How Does a Punch to the Jaw Cause a Knockout?

Jaw Impact

A punch to the jaw causes the head to suddenly spin around. This can be to the left, to the right, or to the back. This quick motion of the skull causes trauma to the brain that leads to a knockout. Points on the jaw that are especially vulnerable to knockouts are the sides of the chin, and where the jaw is attached to the rest of the skull.

Acceleration and Deceleration

When the jaw is punched, the head quickly accelerates around. After a fraction of a second, it quickly decelerates as muscles, tendons, and bones prevent the head from spinning any further. The brain inside the skull is floating in fluid. It accelerates slower than the rest of the head. This forces it to crash into the inside of the skull when the head stops.

Brain Trauma

When the brain slams into the inside of the skull, it suffers trauma. It then bounces off the inside of the skull and slams into the opposite side. This causes even more trauma. Depending on the force of the punch, this can happen several times before the brain comes to rest inside the skull.

Nervous System Response

The trauma to the brain stimulates an overwhelming number of neurotransmitters to fire at the same time. This essentially overloads the nervous system sending it into a state of temporary paralysis. The person who is hit in the jaw loses consciousness and their muscles relax. They fall to the ground with no memory of being hit.

Recovery

A person who is knocked out by a punch to the jaw suffers a severe concussion. It can take anywhere from several seconds to several minutes to regain consciousness. It all depends on the severity of the brain trauma. In mild cases, the person who is knocked out can shake off the punch with little more than a headache. In severe cases, brain trauma from a knockout punch to the jaw can cause cerebral bleeding and death. It is possible for someone to never wake up from a knockout punch.

------------------

Right jab, left hook, right jab, and then ... bam! Knockout.

There is nothing more exhilarating for a boxing audience than to see a fighter hit the mat in a knockout. But being on the losing end of a KO punch can damage a lot more than a pugilist's pride—research suggests that the blows that cause knockouts can be debilitating to a boxer's short and long-term health. Repeated blows to the brain can cause chronic damage such as personality changes and dementia. If the punches have enough impact to cause uncontrollable brain swelling or hemorrhage, the fighter could even die.

So what causes a knockout? Concussions, and lots of them. While it often seems as though the effect is caused by a single well-placed shot, it is usually the result of many quick punches. Each punch creates a concussion (technically defined as any head injury that causes a disruption of neurological function), and each concussion brings the boxer closer to a state of darkness.

Here's how it happens: The body contains dissolved sodium, potassium and calcium, collectively known as electrolytes, which are responsible for conducting impulses along neurons. Every time a fighter receives a blow to a nerve, potassium leaves the cell and calcium rushes in, destabilizing the electrolyte balance, while the brain does all it can to keep these levels in balance. With each successive blow, this balance becomes harder and harder to maintain, and more and more energy must be spent in the process. When the body reaches the point where the damage outweighs the body's ability to repair itself, the brain shuts down to conserve enough energy to fix the injured neurons at a later point.

"After a brain injury, the heart must supply sufficient blood flow for the brain to repair itself. If the demand outweighs the supply the brain then shuts down and leads to an eventual loss of consciousness," says Anthony Alessi, M.D., a neurologist and ringside physician for the Connecticut State Boxing Commission. "That's when I know to end the match, because if we keep going the fighter is going to die."

WOW! In all of their fights, I have never seen Marquez land that shot with such accuracy and Manny walked right into it. Classic!!

Reminded me of the Sergio Martinez shot on Paul Williams.

No point. Manny doesn't have it in his heart anymore. His guard was down all night. Too bouncy. Mayweather would have destroyed Manny now, then and in the future. No point in that fight happening now since we know he's suspect to overhand rights. Which he always was, but ole boy had nothing to lose with a broken nose and down on the score cards.
