I'm a huge alex fan.
But he hasn't played this bad in 2 years. Quite embarrassing. After that 4th and 15 its hard to defend him.

Kaep is less timid to try to throw the ball down field and use/create deep ball threats. That could make a huge difference for their offense.

Moss has had a lot of plays were he was open down field and simply not thrown to with Alex (most noticeable in their last game I think it was). Kaep simply is not afraid to go vertical while Alex dinks & dunks it 90% of the time.

and average at pass blocking
alex has to get rid of it immediately or run for his life
nothing more on display than today
last week he actually had time and threw it down the field
he isn't scared to do it he simply doesn't have the time.
kap didn't and doesn't have the time to do it either

running play action when gore and hunter only had 12 carries between them? and both averaged over 4 yards a carry?
and the game was not out of hand until midway end of 3rd quarter but they refused to run the ball.

Good point. The giants are too good for that college shit. After the 3rd time it was stopped completely scrap that shit. It seemed like everytime something positive happened they got cute with that and totally killed momentum.
It was 1 game, they were 4-1. They were two fuckups from reaching the Superbowl.

Even the analyst are capping for this dude. It's like they refuse to analyze this guys play on the field(win or lost) and tell it like it is. You know, how they do every other QB in the league.
It is cause Alex doesn't read the field. He is going to his first option damn near every time and that is it.
Only time he goes to the second option is when his first is a deep route and the man is somewhat covered.
He is still looking for "college open" receivers and not "nfl open" receivers. He doesn't make passes that NFL QB's make through out the league. You will hardly ever see a throw were the receiver makes a play on the ball, like the back shoulder throw.
He doesn't read the field to find a open man. He tries to look the safeties off with his head but he isn't reading.

Indeed, but for whatever reason largebillsonlyplease wants to believe it's the line and not Alex himself even though I clearly implicated he overlooked or ignored Moss or any deep route receiver when he does have time while Kaep in just a few passes has looked or connected on the deep routes.
