A funny comedy I liked is The Hard Times of RJ Berger
1st season was cool...2nd season was ok but kinda lost direction...the last two eps were horrible and seemed to be done more so for shock value
It reminds me of Porky's/Revenge of the Nerds type shit...it was a weekly series on MTV about a nerd who everybody finds out has a huge dick tryna get this high school cheerleader...it's not as bad as it sounds...that's the storyline for the first ep...show is funny and had some cool animated moments...no gay bullshit until the final 2 eps of season two

Danny Treo's Bad Ass was also good...far from what I expected...they use the situation of the old vet from the viral "Amber Lamps" video to create a decent comedy/action movie
Dead Man Running...a UK flick about a former gangster tryna stay outta prison who has to find a way to pay a crime boss $100,000...twice...pretty good...50 Cent is in it but don't let that deter you...his role is minimal...he's literally in the film a few minutes @ the beginning and the end...I don't think the film is associated w/ his film company...good flick
I will also c/s Lincoln Lawyer and Rampart...2 films ppl mentioned in here
Daniel Tosh Completely Serious standup...completely took me by surprise...seeing him perform and his rapid delivery/jokes made me respect him as a comedian and realize it's not easy to get up there and entertain a crowd for an hour of jokes

The Empire in Africa. It's basically a documentary about the Sierra Leone conflict. I will warn you, if you don't have a strong stomach DO NOT watch it. There is a lot of killing/slaughtering type shit in it and the last thing I saw was them shooting a dude head basically off with an AK. My old lady made me stop it.

You are selling yourself short, and will end up missing out on some pretty good movies. I don't like english dubs because it feels as if the feelings of the actors get "lost in translation"
Shit is slow but is subtly piquing my interest...I'm @ the part where they get the helicopter feed about the "riot"...your description is a bit of a spoiler but I'm still curious to see how this shit ends...
