how many of yall heard of this one? seems to be spreading fast.

i have a homie who has invested about 2 to 3 thousand so far. Supposedly when the dinar resets, his initial investment would be worth many thousands of U.S. dollars. I have no idea how legit this is but I hope it works out for him.


He tried to get me into it, but nah, I'm good.

How do we know what is if you don't describe it? I'm pretty sure you don't get a email titled Iraqi Dinar Scam.

I think there is some legitimacy to it since you can now invest/purchase Dinar at Chase banks now.


I think its all about who you purchase 'em from.


The whole dinar thing is based on what happened when the Kuwait currency flipped. The thing with Iraq, they can start a whole new currency in the process of rebuilding the country. But who knows. Its one of those investments you shouldnt put too much in and not think about so much IMO.

OP, you must be psychic. My brother was telling me about this today. He said he invested 6,000 dollars in it a couple years ago after some military cats told him about it.

Initially I thought it was a good investment. I bought about 2 grand worth in 2006. The value went up a little but not like I thought it would. One thing I realized was Iraq is not like Kuwait. People got rich from buying Kuwaiti money during the war. Kuwait ain't bombing MFs and blowing up themselves. I don't think Iraq will stop the killing and shit sooo, I don't believe their money will be worth much. With all that oil you'd think it would. I went on and sold my Dinars on ebay and said fuck it.

I remember around 2004-06 alot of people was getting hyped about this. The only problem I have with this is you waist alot of time letting that money sit. You dont know when that country will get back on track.
