Mitt Romney's offshore financial holdings are coming under new scrutiny following the publication of internal audits and private letters related to his $250m fortune.

On Wednesday New York-based website Gawker published 950 pages of documents that paint a complex picture of the Republican presidential candidate's finances.

His wealth is held in a convoluted series of holding companies in tax havens including the Cayman Islands and Luxembourg, as well as the US. Romney's investments include stakes in funds invested in high-risk derivatives like the credit default swaps that contributed to the credit crisis, and an investment vehicle that loaned money to the parent firm of the National Enquirer, a racy US tabloid

This tax crap is a distraction, where are the jobs?

Where is the programs or policies to encourage job creation? You want him to pay more, than raise taxes on Capital gains, have a tax on revenue and profit!!!!

Only BGOL members think he's doomed at every turn. When you visit other boards with conservatives and moron voters they completely disregard anything negative about Romney. In most cases they fight tooth and nail to defend him.
 
it's funny there was a whole segment on the nightly news last night about the world of Mormons
how they help the poor and less fortunate and Romneys agenda is helping the rich.

Aye brah Look up the Bradley effect and think in reverse...last election it was suppose to be a photo finish too, how did that turn out? Do you think a wife of right wing nut job racist abusive man will openly say "Hey Honey Im voting for Obama this year" really?...They aint crazy!, however what they do is appease and nod and agree with hubby..but when they get in that booth its a whole different story.

Evidently, in the hands of the pivate sector. After tax corporate profits and corporate profits as a share of GDP reached an all-time high in 2012. Rental income is higher than ever before, as are equipment and software investments... but they'd rather work their existimg employees to death than hire additional workers... it 'aint like they don't have the money.

Romney/Ryan are not going to win Florida. They need Florida to win. The election will be called before polls out west close.

Then corporate taxes need to be raised or measures taken to increase wages such as an increase in minimum wage. Many other countries have 90% unionization rates of their workforce and worker representation in the board room. If you took a bunch of people from France and put them here, they would go nuts!!!They don't take shit from the corporation or the government!!!

The government and people needs to quit sitting on the sidelines watching, accepting what is handed to them. Quit waiting for your herd of animals to throw your spear, you need to think like a farmer or rancher if you want to survive.

Hmmm ... there may now be another reason why Mitt doesn't want his taxes gone through. Maybe he's also been lying about that 10% he's giving to his church every year. :yes::lol:
