Well they explained a little bit in the "lost" way. An explanation that gives you more questions
This retarded fat chick spoke in a numeric code and her father had people look into it and found out it was a coded message. The messages helped him build his company ten times larger and told them how to make the balls and they placed em all over the world. Rich assholes use the balls to bet on the gantz missions. Who or what sent the messages we have no idea.

I think the humans are fucked. These new aliens just used them to kill off all the other alien races and weaken the giant alien race. I feel they are going to turn on the humans next issue.
The way they made it seem the new aliens kicked the giant aliens ass too, and then sent the information to help them... Man fuck those aliens they come to our world which I will admit they helped saved and then call us arrogant when they themselves seem just as arrogant. I think it's cool how they stated this shit was made into a game by the German guy whose daughter was the transmission vessel for the technology the game aspect is what made it so cool.

The new issue holds the philosophy of the natural imperative given to all creatures on this planet... it is the hubris and arrogance of humans which allows them to believe that they are not connected to the other creatures and the environment itself, that they hold a place greater than others based on their biology and abilities.. not cherishing that all species have abilities which differ, but doesn't make them lessers in the presence of the Mother...
Now, humans in the story will see what it is for an ant to speak with a boot or magnifying glass of a human which thinks them miniscule and irrelevant. Where we see ourselves as being great, as being conquerors of nature, nature sees us as parasites...
and that is how the aliens view humanity... and with good reason based on the human ego and what it has done based on that arrogant stance. All they did was supply information needed to repel the invaders which they already defeated, and in that evaluate how humans used that information.. the idea to use it for monetary gain as an interpretation rather than what its supposed to be was the creation of man...
and the idiocy of those which believe information which is greater than your comprehension is that of a higher being, and not simply those who are ignorant to what is being taught... that that knowledge which is greater than your comprehension is that of God, because who would have knowledge which humans are unable to conceive...
Damn shame this series is coming to an end... the dialogue is better than a majority of garbage which people take in on the regular basis.

yea this last issue pretty much summed up my current feelings about the human race. the conceit and arrogance to believe that the world/universe was created for us, and that the fate of the planet an all its species has always hinged on the behavior of one (us)

how so? what technology have humans ever possessed that can literally destroy this planet? I mean from the surface to the core, completely obliterating planet earth until there's nothing left than chunks of rock floating aimlessly through space? sure our nuclear bombs are capable of destroying large enough of the human and other species populations to kill us off, but if the meteor that was responsible for killing the dinos couldn't destroy earth/kill all life, I highly doubt that humans have anywhere near that power.

Yeah... this is one of those mangas that has some hard truths to it. Looking forward to how the story continues from this point on.

I had started reading that awhile ago I found the art very rough and ugly but the story was still somewhat interesting. But i eventually got bored with it and stopped. But because i forgot the name and saw the post on here i started reading it again and it got very good with interesting plot twists and mysteries.

These so called good aliens are just proved that humans are things in there eyes at least. So do they believe that all living creatures are things even them. I wonder do these people they bring back have souls are just copies of the person as they were before they died. Gantz has the tech to clone humans but are these clones just a collections organs or they the real deal human. I know some don't believe in souls and such.

I guess we can all speculate but the writers did a shit job at not explaining some of these things to us. About the vampires though I'm guessing they were probably aliens who came to earth from that dieing galaxy too
