At least Dolph finally won one of these matches. Maybe they'll finally give him the championship push.

It's either now or never.

Im not hating on Cena but come on, the whole WWE revolves around one person and it's not C.M Punk...Cena doesn't need the title around him to be relevant, hell he's on T.V. every week and the fact that he won the M.I.T.B match is a fucking joke.....M.I.T.B is supposed to give a push to midcarders like Dolph Ziggler, not to push main eventers even harder

 At least not the same main eventer that's already the headliner.

So how do you guys think that the Daniel Bryan-AJ wedding is going to go wrong?

They're going to have it on tv, that's where it's going to go wrong.

Glad to see Rey back and glad they didn't do it on the 1000th episode where he would get lost in the shuffle.

They need him badly. I look forward to his eventual matches with Daniel Bryan.

Is there a better seller in the WWE right now than Dolph? That cat makes finishing moves look 10 x's better than they really are. He sold the shit out of that codebreaker.

Dolph makes finishers and high impact moves look absolutely lethal. Definetly a guy who deserves to be @ the top.

I think either Eve or The Miz will break it up....btw does this mean that they turned Bryan face again ?

I hope not. Hes been money as a heel so I hope this ends up with him doing something dastardly to AJ (who they should have turned but it's too late now).

what is she now ? at first I thought she was a face but now I think they have her as just plain crazy

I still think about how sick he made Zack Ryder's monkey flip at Wrestlemania look:

Just a monkey flip, and he made that shit look like a damn finisher.

Dolph could do the mo-caps for all moves in the wrestling games and I would buy the games just for that.

You would think that the WWE would look at that as a plus and as a reason to push him but it seems like instead they use his selling ability to only put guys over and make them look better without elevating his status in the process. Ziggler has been in a good amount of big singles matches and hasn't won any of them unless his opponent was Kofi Kingston.

It seems like Bryan is becoming a face again. Personally I feel that if the wedding is a set up by either Bryan or AJ that AJ is more likely to be the one who schemed and set the other person up.

I don't know. I guess she's a face since she's been wrestling Eve lately but it's hard to tell. I think that will be cleared up next week too.

Good news on the TNA front
TNA SIGNS FORMER WWE STAR
by Dave Scherer @ 11:25 AM on 7/19/2012

TNA has come to terms with former WWE star Chavo Guerrero Jr. to a deal. He is set to debut on next week's Impact.

As Stu and I mentioned on our show last week, the former Luke Gallows is one of the Aces or Eights. I have also heard that Wes Brisco played one as well.

Not familiar with Brisco but adding Gallows and Guerrero is great news. With them adding so many younger guys to the X-Division they need to add a vet to help them and give them some more depth. Guerrero's good enough to even work tag teams if they go that direction.
Gallows is one of the best big men going and I'm glad he's getting another shot in a bigger company. Now if they would just add Mike Knox, they would have all the good young/younger big guys.

All I know about Brisco is that he was in FCW for awhile and he and Xavier Woods aka Apollo Creed were tag champs there. I've heard that he was a good wrestler.

I wonder if Chris Masters is also a member of the Aces & Eights group. Right now the company is bringing in guys who were on their Ring ka King program(Gallows, Sonjay, Joey Ryan, Chavo).

:D

I was thinking some of those guys would be used in TNA eventually. I'm thinking the mastermind behind the Aces and Eights is Jeff Jarrett.

I noticed on last week's Impact! that when they went the commercials during the matches, the guys kept going instead of going into restholds, stall tactics or somehow getting both guys knocked out. This week, they're streaming live on the internet during commercial breaks.
That's some interesting shit. Whoever came up with this idea deserves a raise.

Now they need to stop playing Rewind right before the show. It's pointless. Air it on the weekends and/or use it as a syndicated program.

Bobby Roode just violated the rules of being a smart heel. If you see somebody whooping your adversaries ass and you don't them or who they are get the hell out of dodge. Don't sit there and congratulate them thinking that you all are cool. Sheamus at least understood that.

Raven did the same thing in ECW on his last night before leaving for WCW.

^^^^^ Tommy Dreamer the absolute king of bad luck.

-Finally beat his long time rival get his ass beat afterwards.

-Finally win a title, get double crossed by his manager and lose the title less than 10 minutes later

-Finally the tag belts over another long time rival, only win because of the help of his beiggest enemy and have to share the title with him

-Get screwed over by Colin Delaney of all people.

You summed up Dreamer's career in ECW!

You can tell that he loves and is about the business because he had influence and helped behind the scenes in ECW along with Buh Buh Ray Dudley and some others and he didn't worry about putting himself over and being the company's top dog.

Tommy was a rare breed. He understood the importance of building other stars even at his own expense. He put ECW before Tommy Dreamer.

A LOOK AT WHO MAY BE BEHIND THE ACES AND EIGHTS
by Dave Scherer @ 10:19 AM on 7/20/2012

Joe Smith sent this bit of deductive reasoning. ... When you click on their Twitter account of the Aces and Eights, it says they being followed by Jeff Jarrett & D Lo Brown, but not by anyone else in TNA. The following wrestlers are following them or tweeted about the group: Luke Gallows, Jay Bradley, Cliff Compton, Chris Masters, Wes Brisco, Jeff Jarrett, & D Lo Brown.

I am not that into Twitter but I can tell you that as we have reported, Gallows and Brisco have been confirmed as taking part in the group thus far. Obviously, it would a great spot for Jarrett to return in, especially after being "snubbed" by not being the first inductee in the TNA Hall Of Fame.

 DAMMNNN. I don't even remember that shit. Dolph is the shit on selling.

Well see that's the gift and the curse. Reminds me of Shelton Benjamin. Got this cat wrestling dudes to make other dudes look better. Fuck that. Let them step their shit up. And the worst mistake they can do to Bryan is make him a face. Have him be heel and get those cheers. They act like they're scared of that shit. They act like they're scared of heels getting cheers. Turning Orton and Shameus into heels was the worst shit they could've done to them.

Neither of them has been as interesting as faces as heels and they will cut Bryan's legs out from under him by turning him. Seeing the spoilers for SD, it looks like they're leaving him as a heel for now. I hope they stick with it, he's the best heel they have (should have put the WWE title on him).

And yea that's another thing. You turn him heel then who is going to be your top heel? Dolph? And shit don't look now but Dolph is starting to get cheers as well. Hopefully they don't turn him either.e

It looks like they're flipping Jericho too so it would have to be Dolph. That and they dropped the ball so badly with Alberto that he's not nearly as over as he should be. When they figure out that strong heels draw money, they'll start pulling 4s in the ratings instead of low 3s.

You're right, Ziggler is getting cheered more and more.

This is somewhere they can mimic TNA. They kept Aries heel until the fans were overwhelmingly cheering him and even as the top face, he's still an asshole to the fans. Nothing has really changed about him since his turn except who he wrestles.

The wwe rule of thumb now is "If he's cheered turn him face" and it's cost them in terms of quality. Punk should've stayed heel but money made them turn him and look at how mediocre he's been(level wise)since then, they're so obsessed with money that it's really killing the company.

He's been great as usual in the ring (I really liked his match with Show) but he's really just "okay" on the mic. If I didn't know he could do better, I would rate him higher. Some weeks, he sounds like old Punk but other weeks it's like a watered down version.

I'd have to admire TNA on that. I know it was probably hard for them not to pull that trigger and make him a straight up face. WWE could take notes from tNA on that front.

Yea I know. They'r eobssessed with money but they are blind. I honestly believe if they keep dudes as heels it won't hurt them. As a matter of fact, I think it hurts them to turn them heel. Shit maybe not in their wallets. I guess. I imagine when they turn someone completely face their merchandise goes up with kids but some guys like Shaemus and CM Punk shouldn't be fucking faces. They had a good thing going. Especially Punk being I don't think his merchandise sells come much from children but that's just a guess on my part.
