What is this crazy talk of Shumpert being some kind of all-star
This after a 7 page thread hyping this dude up as some untouchable commodity in the potential Nash deal?
Have y'all niggas bumped y'all skulls???

Niggas are funny, watch a bunch of bipolar Knick fans come in here and  about the possible Kidd signing, but yesterday were bitching about Nash

1. came cheaper
2. better defender
3. will mentor Young Lin
4. We kept Shump and our youth.
5. Kidd has championship experience. 40% of the Mavs title team are NYK's
6. Kidd will fuck up opposing teams second units.

Kidd is a better add on than Nash was.

Jeremy Lin has verbally agreed to sign a four-year offer sheet with the Houston Rockets on July 11, according to a source close to the talks.

The four-year deal would be worth an estimated $30-plus million.

A report in The New York Post on Wednesday, citing a league source, said the Rockets were planning to offer Lin a backloaded deal worth roughly $30 million. According to the same source, the deal would pay Lin $5 million in the first season, $5.2 million in the second, and then would increase to as much as $10 million per year in the third and fourth seasons.

"Jeremy Lin's an excellent player," Rockets general manager Daryl Morey told The Post. "We got to know him firsthand when he was with the Rockets early this season. We think he'd make a fantastic addition to our team."

The Knicks can offer Lin a four-year deal worth $24.5 million. In 35 games with the Knicks last season, Lin averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 assists per game.

Lin's deal will be worth $9.3M "poison pill" third year of deal, league source tells Y!

Shit 9.3 for one year isn't a poison pill, that's a salary bump. Dolan spends money like the guy in the gif above, its the only friggin perk of being a knicks fan dude has no fear of a salary cap ... Anyhow 30 mil over 2 years would of been a poison pill. Shit I think that is what Landry got.

1. came cheaper
2. better defender - 5 years ago... Dude is 47 years old now...
3. will mentor Young Lin - only unless he has an unlimited plan with Vonage
4. We kept Shump and our youth. -
5. Kidd has championship experience. 40% of the Mavs title team are NYK's
6. Kidd will fuck up opposing teams second units. - Nah... he will have to log some major minutes with the first unit... Slow ass is gonna be a liability like a motherfucker... :smh:

Kidd is a better add on than Nash was. - Really

According to @WojYahooNBA, Lin offer sheet is $5M, $5.2M and the balloon third year is $9.3M plus team option 4th. Jerome James cost more!

@basketballtalk: To be clear: The Rockets spent all day negotiating Jeremy Lin's new deal with the Knicks. How nice of them.

Kidd is a better defender than Nash.. that cannot be argued.
He came to the Knicks b/c in Dallas he'd play 36min a nite. In ny he'll play 15 to 20.
He's a hall of famer with nba finals experience thats more than Nash has and Lin patterns his game after Kidd. Perfect mentor.
Kidd vs any teams second unit is a kidd win setting up looks for Novak or Smith.
He has already said he is coming to backup. Said it today.
Lin is the starter.
Knicks will match Lin's deal. it's only like 32 mil... and Lin is 24.

Source with knowledge of Knicks' thinking: "They will match any offer on Lin up to 1 billion dollars"

thats a great offer sheet... rockets made a nice deal. they know ny is matching so they help Lin get paid. Very nice of them.

We may not get the best record in the East, but we will be a VERY tough out in the playoffs. As of now we're probably the 2nd strongest team in the East

Boston can't stay healthy/consistent.

Chicago won't be making any noise without D Rose barring something drastic

All we need is a starting 2 guard and we're set.

All jokes aside I am happy youngin is getting his dough... All throughout I've always dug him, and I believe he is a better fit and choice for the Knicks than any of the available PGs including Felton...

I think if he was to try to negotiate with the Knicks directly, they would have tried to bullshit him so this was the best move for him...

Hope this shit works out with Kidd though, even though in terms of athleticism he reminds me a little of a young J Kidd... I still remember him rolling through the middle and flushing that shit last year, I think it was against the Lakers..

Dude's call me a damn fool, but I believe with some more run and confidence, Lin has the potential to become legit!!!

The knicks coulda only gone up to 24mil. the rockets did us a favor by making it 28.8. Knicks wanted him to get paid. He was never in danger of leaving.

Yo creed when the Knicks match the offer can Lin say no to the Knicks or does he have to sign the deal by all means necessary

once knicks match he's a knick. cant say no or anything. he doesn't sign it he gets 24 from ny for 4 yrs and loses 4.8mil.

now Landry is considering not signing the raptors offer... can't blame him why leave the knicks 4 the raptors... but that money is nice...
