I was unemployed from October 1, 2011 to June 10, 2012. I hated being jobless.
It was one of the reasons I wasn't around on BGOL much. I was brooding, depressed, pissed.
Not anymore. Since June 11, I have been working as a subcontractor for Lockheed Martin. Working with the US Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Won't be traveling anymore, so you won't be seeing anymore postcards from Africa, Asia and all other points.
But damn it feels good to be working again.
I'll try to stop through at least twice a week. But y'all take care.

Down 30 pounds now and feeling better about myself than I have in a while. I still feel really bad about myself, so I still have a ways to go, but this weight loss is helping.
One week sans employment and I'm itching already. Hopefully I secure a client for my business shortly. All I need is one and I'm off to the races.
It's only been about 6 months, but it feels like forever. Then again, considering how often I strike out, I shouldn't miss it that much.
