So how much does it cost to fix the NBA Finals?

Yeah the reason why OKC lost 4 games strait, and the reason why they got blown away by over 20 that last game, was because of the refs.

They lost the last game because Mike Miller had the game of his life and Westbrook did his best John Starks impersonation.

Mike & Mike broke this shit down perfectly. Why do people believe David Stern fixes the NBA? Why would the highest paid commissioner in all of sports have fixed games or lotteries. That is a criminal activity that will get tried in front of congress and shut your league down. Commissioner Stern is not Kwame Kilpatrick so you cats really need to stop with this shit.

When confronted with giving LeBron actual props, the "fixed" bullshit is the path of least resistance!

The league is a business

And what do businesses do?

Make money

U HAVE GO HAVE YOU'RE FAMOUS PLAYER ABD MONEY MAKER IN THESE FINALS

Y'all niggus think we seen the last of Kobe??

:itsawrap:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

why are so many of yall so butthurt over this? I mean, I get it. No more Ringless Lebron jokes. That sucks for you guys I suppose. But is it really this serious?

Please stop whining. OKC got every single call in the first half. Miami was still up by 10.

At some point. Harden is going to have to stop acting scared and they need to play some D.

6 3-pointers by 1 guy. That is no defense.

So why didn't Miami pay for the championship last year? So you saying they waited for the NBA to have a lockout with a short season and then pay to win the championship from a team making it to the finals their first time with the new franchise?

Honestly if the NBA was fixed, San Antonio wouldn't be the winningest team in the last 15 yrs with 4 championships and LeBron would be on ring 3 at least by now.

No, because of the lockout year look to see this a lot: * I'm even considering selling Miami Heat asterisk shirts to haters and relatives in Ohio.

I'm with you!!!!!

I see it NOW,

that's why they blocked Lil Wayne earlier cause he was gonna tell him Trina pussy is laced with an experimental "choke" drug.

That is why he SUCKED the entire series...

It was the same drug they dosed Lebron with last year, he had a little jumpoff and he got caught up.

THAT'S the REAL reason he got married...

to avoid any future dosed pussy.

It was a huge conspiracy with the media conglomerates to increase ratings...

The ref just lost composure and let Coach Spo know that everything is set!!!

You see how Scott Brooks had to constantly reminded his team to shake hands and be professional cause EVERYONE knew the fix was in...

That's why KD was crying and his Mom was assuring him David Stern would take care of it later...

it wasn't his turn yet,

but with the lockout and rigged draft and orchestrating the Chris Paul "trade"...

they needed to redirect attention...

You sir are a GENIUS!!!!

:hmm:

I dont like LeBron and all the bullshit hype and ball riding that he brings to the game...BUT they did actually outplay OKC in this series, fixed or not.

I am however very curious as to how they came back on the Celtics being down 3-2...thats where the fix was in IMO. Anytime a team in todays #CASHCOW NBA comes back like that I call a fix....this was the same shit that happened in 2010 when Celts were up 3-2 on the lakers in the finals and Perkins stubbed his toe and was miraculously out for the season and the Lakers came back and won the title.

But aside from the Ref and Spolstra dapping each other up...the obvious thing that let me know that it was rigged early in the playoffs and even in the finals was the commentary...them ninjas had their saddles on tight on Lebrons dick, especially Van Gundy....they get Hyped for EVERYTHING the Heat and Lebron does....and dont really say ANYTHING when the opposing team does something...its like they are the home team commentary crew for the Heat in every game :smh: :smh: :smh:

This!

:hmm::smh:Bad information equals bad conclusions.
Perkins didn't "stub his toe" he seriously hurt his knee (tore his PCL and MCL ligaments) and was out for the rest of the series (which was one game since he hurt it in Game 6). The NBA didn't need to "fix" that since they had the two marquee teams in the Finals and it didn't really matter who won for them.

Never happened. There was no "dap".

You listened through your bias because I thought Van Gundy was his usual blustering self and the talk of commentators has nothing to do with refs and who makes shots and who doesn't.

Do you really believe what you just wrote?? Really??

I said "stubbed his toe" sarcastically because of how it happened...

Again the NBA is a business and in the wake of the Jordan Era they have been TRYING HARD to reproduce that level of success of the "one-man savior" and their #1 guy for the job was Kobe and then/now LeBron. That means no matter what happens 1 of those guys has to be in the spotlight, period. When there is neither of those guys involved they and the fans deem the sport boring and you get finals with Spurs and Pistons that were very poor ratings. Therefore, the unwritten rule is that 1 of those guys needs to be in the spotlight and in the finals.

  • 2008 - Lakers v Celtics
  • 2009 - Lakers v Magic
  • 2010 - Lakers v Celtics
  • 2011 - Heat v Mavs
  • 2012 - Heat v Thunder

I dont have biased ears, I hear what is being said, I could interpret it in a biased manner but thats not the case. Goto NBATV and watch the reruns of any one of the games, and listen to how many times the name "LeBron" is mentioned even when hes not making a play or in the game. Then compare the response of Kevin Durant making a play and scoring versus LeBron making a play and scoring. Those are just the facts, and part of the reason why I THINK, they dont let Kenny and Charles provide feedback on air for the finals (ABC vs Turner Contracts Aside). They want to control the commentary and post game reviews for their own purposes.

Do you understand what I just typed?

Of course the NBA is about making money and fixing games and champions isn't a good bet and if they did do it, they've done a horrible job. If they were fixing it, there would never have been a Spurs/Pistons series in the first place or is that the year they decided they didn't want to make money?

This is one of those really dumb topics people make up out of whole cloth and find evidence to fit their ridiculous theory.

Whoa, Dave, relax with the common sense, bruh.

real talk the officiating was terrible all playoffs no one can deny that...the NBA needs to crack down on flopping & the refs are way too inconsistent

Of course Stern wouldn't go out and directly fix anything, because he doesn't have to. All he has to say, for example, is that a Heat - Thunder final would be an exciting match-up for the league or that LeBron is definitely the face of the NBA. The rest is history and the refs, biased commentators know what they need to do.

Lets be real though. There's a lot of shit that looks suspect. My squad is the Lakers and yes, we've gotten a shitload of calls that went our way, especially when we played the Kings in 02.
Looking at this year, the officiating was suspect as hell in both conference finals and finals; the blocked Chris Paul trade and the Hornets winning the lottery.
Is the league fixed? Probably. can one directly prove it...Nope !!

Some people like boogeymen but I think adults should be too old for that.
I say that and I like pro wrestling, comic books and cartoons:D

I don't see what was any more suspect than normal. "Stars get the call" has always been the rule and when two stars have a questionable-either way type moment, the refs often swallow the whistle. Just like everyone can point to a missed call one way, there's another one the other way, that's basketball. When the sub refs were in and calling everything and not playing favorites, people couldn't wait for the old guys to come back.

And, again, the Hornets getting the first pick proves more that the lottery isn't fixed than it is.

Now where did I put that one star at!

lol let's act like the Ref ain't give the heats coach a "homeboy tap" when he ran by the sidelines.. I love it.

this article was written before game 4:

Kevin Durant, you're a star? LeBron James will put you in foul trouble

"....In Game 3, three of Durant’s five fouls came on defensive calls while guarding James (one was on an offensive foul he put on James). That runs the total to six of Durant’s 12 fouls in this series coming courtesy of defending James.

This is not new. In the Eastern Conference finals, Paul Pierce was in foul trouble four times in seven games, and 14 of his 29 fouls were on calls against James. In the conference semis, Danny Granger of the Pacers was in foul trouble in three of six games, and 16 of the 21 calls against him came while defending James. In the opening round, Carmelo Anthony tried his hand at guarding James and was in foul trouble in three of five games. A total of 16 of the 21 fouls against Anthony came while defending James."

:smh: Dude does not have enough basketball knowledge to know that if a player like Lebron who is constantly driving and attacking the basket on the offensive end like he does is going to draw fouls and have the man guarding him in foul trouble. Man you need that tin foil hat for real...:hmm:

Cut it out, I saw Lebron hacked a lot times with no fouls called. Stop bitching and find another whooping boy. There are so many to pick from like D Howard, Melo, Chris Paul.

:confused::confused::confused:

so hold up...

you're arguing that nobody on the planet can defend lebron james without getting into foul trouble!? that this is just a NORMAL thing while defending lebron!?!

so every coach should just tell their guy: "hey, you're gonna get into foul trouble so..."

nigga is this your first season of watching basketball EVER!?!? WTF!?!?

People can't even keep fucking a teacher on the hush, but somehow y'all think that they can keep something as major as this quiet. Y'all dudes.....:smh:[/QUOTE

You're joking right. Years aftervthe Lakers hoisted their banners a ref goes tomprison claiming a fix. The same ref has his legs broken in prison. C'mon....
