Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

:lol: @ the shit I been reading on the net.

I originally called the series with my boys... Heat in 6 but wouldn't be suprised if they did it in 5.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Just to "keep with the script" here's what will happen in Game 5.

Miami will blow the Thunder out by double digits to win the title in convincing fashion Thursday night. It'll be the biggest margin of victory for a team in the series.

closing out a series is difficult...games have been so close...I really think this series goes back to OKC...your going to see max effort from the Thunder...

C/S about the corrupt nature of the NBA...I expect the fix to be in to push a next game....Dave Stern = Bob Arum

either way I feel the Heat take it on OKC court

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

what happened to the refs making bad calls?!? fuck it here is a list of excuses.

66 game season
refs
2-3-2 format
voodoo
bad OKC coaching

Feel free to add to the list. I'm gonna make a shirt out of it and where it to thursdays game.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

 man this series is over.

I said before the series that Miami would win in 5 because I saw no threat from OKC and that is what is happening now.

They had a good run but they just weren't good enough. The West and the lack of defense that they play didn't prepare them and other than Boston (which has a mental edge over the Heat) Miami has basically blown through everyone.

dude, youre benefiting from some piss poor officiating and youre barely winning these games

theyre definitely good enough to win...you know this

its not like miami is dominating...

theyre making some big time shots to pull these games out during the last min

but this shit is far from over

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

bs
they're not too green
they don't have a proper coach

he made the simple adjustment last series and the talent got them through.

he made no adjustments this series and STILL because of sheer talent the team is making the games close but can't close the deal...

the coach will get you 6 points a night... what have okc been losing by?

ive never been high on brooks but i thought they could overcome him and pull it out

and the disappearance of james harden is the problem

he hasn't been good the entire playoffs

but the biggest stage he is just stinking it up even more

the same bonehead shit he did all year
not passing
shooting bad shots
catching up to him

IDK fam...they make some mistakes that make me think they are just not ready...closing out games really shows something...they have struggled to finish games...then the bonehead play by Westbrook tonight....

Bron has been here so many times...he knows what it takes...

I agree Brooks has been fucking up...why no TO when the Heat was on that run & cut the lead?...he let them play through it & got fucked up....

benching West IDK dude made some mistakes...but they are such a young team I really think its mental too

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

:smh: Yes it is. The Heat perimeter defense won't allow all 3 of them to get off. So the Thunder needed a monster ~40 point game from either Westbrook or Durant with the other getting 25-30 points to make up those points that Harden isn't getting and they got that tonight. Westbrook was unstoppable like some of those Dirk games last year, difference is Heat are surviving these games this year...

no its not...not even close

harden is playing shitty because he's been playing shitty the entire playoffs
like i said he had 3 good games in the entire postseason and 1 was against the heat.

the perimeter defense isn't doing shit... cause they're not shooting jumpers they're going to the lane and nobody can stop them

if rus decided to go to the lane every game this series he'd have that many points this series every night. he's bailed you out.
nobody is stopping durant... still havent.

harden is playing shitty cause its what he is doing he's getting shots and wide fucking open looks and missing...

stop it

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

I been watching baskets for a lotta years and I have seen this b4...LUCK,REFS,and DESTINY.When they line up against you its a wrap and a blind man can see that since game 2 every call and every break and every loose ball has gone Heats way. OKC has had ball with chance to tie or lead the last 3 games and they missed wide open shot or was fouled or lost a loose ball or some other weird shit happens(jump ball).Give Heat credit they have closed out the last min of these 3 games and won them,BUT they better close out Thursday and not give these kids any hope.Too bad Spurs couldnt get here, they would not have blown these games in final secs like OKC has.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Hey get in line nigga i was the first to say 4-1:lol::lol::lol:

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Real Talk,

The Heat are winning because they simply are not shooting jumpers. I have never seen a finals or NBA series where the refuse to shoot jumpers.

OKC need their man hood check. How you let a team say fuck shooting jumpers and camp out in the paint all game and series:smh:

the thunder aren't shooting jumpers either... they're getting in the lane and shooting floaters

and rus can get a layup every possession.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

yo didnt the lakers win a couple years ago against the C's

they only won 1 in boston and had to win the last 2 at home if i remember

man this series is far from over...okc just needs one in miami

plus russ has learned he can penetrate at will

Unless James is really injured I don't see OKC coming back... For one thing other than spots in game one and during the first quarter of this game, every single quarter have been played by the pace of Miami Heat basketball.. Even when the Thunder score, the shots look labored and it takes too long for them to get a shot off. While the Heat seem to score at will when ever they need a big shot...
Even though the scores are close, so far these teams are light years away from each other..

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

The Lakers weren't down 3-1...

im saying if okc wins the next one

they simply have to do what the lakers did

just win at home and theyre champs

they simply need to get home

Its different cause the Lakers didnt have to win 3 in a row.

Makes a big difference.

Im not crowning the HEAT yet though. It aint over till its over.

I dont wanna hear shit about a parade right now.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Nope

And you're also depending on them staying hungry, look at how Dallas, Miami with Shaq and Detroit turned out.

I'd never predict multiple championships, then you have injuries like Derrick Rose

You bringing up a dallas team that the owner broke up because

1. He didn't want to pay the luxury tax for team he feel couldn't compete for years.

2. He had the plan of going after dwight and deron.

Miami with Shaq was an old team. We are talking about the best player in the league in his PRIME!!!!!!!!! Imagine if shaq in his prime was playing with wade.

3. No one felt the pistons would be a monster they were a great team but they didn't have a player like Lebron on there team.

again we are talking about Lebron James in his prime. in a weak eastern conference. Hell Miami hobble to the Finals and look what they are doing.

they haven't blown them out all series...almost all games came down to 2 possessions or less...no Blowouts...OKC are not scrubs...they will keep it close like they have been doing all series...a double digit lead is irrelevant in this series

I say they win on Thursday

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Where's largebills with that gif he said he had in the stash?

ill make something else for harden, it didn't apply to rus tonight he did good and attacked the rim

its gonna be harden and brooks ill start on it in a few moments

At this juncture with 4quarter away from a chip, I don't think Miami is trying to go back to OKC...

This game was OKC's chance and once again blew it down the stretch

No team has ever come back from being down 3 to 1. Series is over. Miami is just the better team

the games have been too close to make this statement

one game yall won, durants arm was held

another game shane made a ridiculous three

its not like miami is dominating...theyre making the bigger shots plus theyre getting some ridiculous help from the refs

but all that shit can change over night

okc just needs to win 1

mark my words

if miami does not win the next game at home

okc will be world champs

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

I really had hope in the first half that the refs wouldn't get in the way of a good game but, I'll be gotdamned if they didn't come back in the 3 quarter calling a COMPLETELY different game! Fuck this series and Stern!!!:angry:

How did Dirk and Shaq come back after winning a title?

Lebron is in his prime, and so is Bosh, but Wade isn't

Anything is possible in sports and OKC is such a great city, if any team can pull it off it would be them... But if I was a betting man my money would be on Miami..

So now the team that lost four straight to the Thunder would have been a tougher matchup
Y'all cats are trying too hard right now...

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

again under this new cba what new team is going to come and challenge this team. You have the Bulls owner talking about making moves to avoid paying the tax. by the time this new CBA expires Lebron will have three rings
killa, they almost lost to the pacers...they struggled against the geriatric celtics (who struggled against the abysmal sixers). This team is FAR from invincible. For the next 2years you have three total players (Bron,Mario,Cole) who will maintain a steady rate of productivity on get slightly better...Everyone else on the roster will be at a slight or drastic decline in performance. On a nightly basis, you only have two players you can absolutely depend on getting their numbers (Bosh,Bron). Everyone else is a question mark and a maybe. It aint gonna be easy bro.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Durant and Westbrook sound mentally beaten in the post-game. This is over on Thursday.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

it can't be they can't close out games when they haven't been blowing people out to get here and have been closing out games the entire playoffs... close games...

Its easier to close out games in a shootout then it is in a grind out game. Its that East vs West difference.

Durant aint ever had to fight this hard just to get his hands on the ball.

They got heart though.

Every game is close.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

niggas are killing me with this miami is a better team shit

like yall are watching 20 point blow outs

every game has gone down to the wire

if the refs give durant the superstar calls

okc can easily win this

they just need to focus on one game at a time
