~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 3-1)~-~-~-~

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Series is over no team has ever EVER come back from being down 3-1. Thunder isn't ready. This is the beginning of the Heat Dynasty. Again what team is going to beat the Heat next year.

Do I need to mention the Bulls best player will likely be out all season and has the Bulls considering just saying "oh well" with next season.

The Thunder next year have to deal with Harden and Ibaka contract situations. Also the new CBA makes it harder and damn near impossible to put together these new super teams.

Miami made it to ECF not even playing their best. Miami will own the East for years

I can see the Heat getting maybe 3 'chips with this team...I don't see anything like the 90's Bulls...

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

After four games, if that was not OKC's best game you might as well not show up for game five:smh:

and that's true one has nothing to do with the other.

it should've been their best performance but it clearly wasn't even close to a complete game by them... they showed flashes then let it get back

clearly not even close to their best game they could play

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

They've had the last 3 games to win 1 game and it hasn't happen, now 1 loss and their done. :smh:

1. stern is the devil and the ratings are through the roof for this series
2. you dont okc to get back home....the ratings would really explode
3. expect some fuckery to fall miami's way now
4. remember, stern is the devil!
games have been so close...Heat are hungry & have experience on their side...OKC can't close out a game for shit...:smh:

down the stretch they fall apart...

refs have been crazy with the fouls all series

if Harden, KD & West aren't playing great they can't win...tonight Harden was non existent :smh:

ratings bruh....ratings

i expect some big time fuckery to fall upon the heat

stern has the best ratings he's seen since the jordans days

if okc can get just one game

everything changes

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

who is going to beat them???

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Heat took Thunder's best shot tonight and they survived it. Up til this series, the Heat lost a close game like this like in every other series they played. I think its over on Thursday. Thunder just not ready...

Clear as day, too many stupid mistakes on the players and coach, but hey they are a young team; plenty of room to grow.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Wasn't that team suppose to be OKC
No. Thunder is a two man show with Harden being the 3rd option to provide offense. They have no true depth. Besides, we are talking about moving forward. This Heat team is incredibly flawed and i dont expect the rest of the league to not address their issues while allowing Lebron to go superhuman in the postseason year after year. Just isnt plausible. Unless this Heat team makes moves they will be one and done.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

1 more Miami. Get it done on Thursday.

That being said, OKC is a 3 man team, but in this series it's only been 2. KD and Russy are the only people they can depend on. Harden has struggled. Ibaka, Perk, Thabo, Collison, and the rest of them are not consistent scorers. Plus, with all that shit Ibaka was talking earlier, where has he been all series? I honestly don't remember him being involved too much in the second half of any of these games. Same with Perk. Non existent.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Heat keeping the thunder under 100 the past 3 games...

Harden is straight up SHOOK DADDY. Nigga folding like a cheap suit

again Ibaka non existant, Perkins non factor

for Okc its just a 2 man game..

can't win like that

That dude had a wide open 15 footer, and instead of being aggressive of driving or even shooting the jumper he looked like Shaq from the free throw line :smh:

this needs to be said....

KD is doing his best lebron james disappearing act these last couple of games in the 4th quarter :smh::smh::smh::smh:

Yeah, he could have given Wesbtrook some help when they tied the score.

IMO he needs to use the off season to work on his footwork down low and gain some strength. He needs to be skinny strong like KG.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

OKC too green....a bunch of 22-23 year olds who never been on this stage against players who have not only been there but been on huge stages throughout their career

too much for the Thunder...their time will come tho...

again under this new cba what new team is going to come and challenge this team. You have the Bulls owner talking about making moves to avoid paying the tax. by the time this new CBA expires Lebron will have three rings

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

the thunder with a better coach

if they had one this series would be different

imagine if doc rivers coached this team....

blah blah blah blah blah

y'all been saying this same shit all playoffs. OKC just met an Eastern Conference style defense. Rivers aint gonna make a difference, experience will

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

yo didnt the lakers win a couple years ago against the C's

they only won 1 in boston and had to win the last 2 at home if i remember

man this series is far from over...okc just needs one in miami

plus russ has learned he can penetrate at will

Yep, you're exactly right about OKC. I'll also add the fact that with the exception of Russy, they don't attack the basket too much. Harden does it at times, but in most cases OKC is a jump shooting team.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

Batman & Robin and..........the other guy aren't members of the Avengers.

I call them the avengers because a three stars came together to accomplish a goal and looks like that is about to happen

I say amnesty Perkins. What the fuck is the point of having him if he can't play at the end of games, doesn't grab 10 boards and is overrated defensively.
Keep Thabo
And sign and trade Harden
And use the full mid level they had for someone

Brooks isn't the main problem

bs
they're not too green
they don't have a proper coach

he made the simple adjustment last series and the talent got them through.

he made no adjustments this series and STILL because of sheer talent the team is making the games close but can't close the deal...

the coach will get you 6 points a night... what have okc been losing by?

ive never been high on brooks but i thought they could overcome him and pull it out

and the disappearance of james harden is the problem

he hasn't been good the entire playoffs

but the biggest stage he is just stinking it up even more

the same bonehead shit he did all year
not passing
shooting bad shots
catching up to him

The celtics was the best defense the Heat met all playoffs and they probably won't be together next season.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

 man this series is over.

I said before the series that Miami would win in 5 because I saw no threat from OKC and that is what is happening now.

They had a good run but they just weren't good enough. The West and the lack of defense that they play didn't prepare them and other than Boston (which has a mental edge over the Heat) Miami has basically blown through everyone.

if okc can get back home this series is far from over

this 2-3-2 format is made for true homecourt advantage

they just need to win 1

closing out a series is difficult...games have been so close...I really think this series goes back to OKC...your going to see max effort from the Thunder...

C/S about the corrupt nature of the NBA...I expect the fix to be in to push a next game....Dave Stern = Bob Arum

either way I feel the Heat take it on OKC court

no i haven't the only thing i don't like about the heat are the unbearable fans who pop shit but really don't have a leg to stand on good thing they're playing the games and not you...

rivers would make a huge damn difference
he took a hobbled less talented team and pushed you 7

what could he do with the thunder's talent?

coaching matters and it gets you over the top

the heat have run into a coach that is shittier than theirs is.

Re: ~-~-~-~Official 2012 NBA Finals Thread: Miami Heat vs. OKC Thunder(Heat 2-1)~-~-~

it was not the thunder's best shot
i wish you guys would stop trying to say this.

their best is when more than 2 people score... and they play intense defense, this was far from their best... they haven't played a complete game and that's why they've lost 3 of them.

the okc playing their best and the heat still winning is a myth. stop it

:smh: Yes it is. The Heat perimeter defense won't allow all 3 of them to get off. So the Thunder needed a monster ~40 point game from either Westbrook or Durant with the other getting 25-30 points to make up those points that Harden isn't getting and they got that tonight. Westbrook was unstoppable like some of those Dirk games last year, difference is Heat are surviving these games this year...

he is cause he's squandering the chance to win.
its the nba never know what can happen can't count on or book anything.
so
you can't waste this talent

you know you and I don't see eye to eye all the time but you hit it on the head.

This is the first of many for Miami.

Boston taught the Heat how to play championship ball... thats why Miami is up 3 to 1

Nope

And you're also depending on them staying hungry, look at how Dallas, Miami with Shaq and Detroit turned out.

I'd never predict multiple championships, then you have injuries like Derrick Rose

Real Talk,

The Heat are winning because they simply are not shooting jumpers. I have never seen a finals or NBA series where the refuse to shoot jumpers.

OKC need their man hood check. How you let a team say fuck shooting jumpers and camp out in the paint all game and series:smh:
