black women usually have strong support groups family, friends, church..etc. That might be one of the reasons why the black female suicide rate is the lowest in the country.

Yeah, because they need it to help them now. Any other time, these qualities would be used as a reason to ridicule them.

The suicides rate has always been low for not only black women, but black people period! We deal with so much bs that a lot things don't us affect as it do for whites. That is one of the biggest reason, why we die from stress at such higher %. I don't really know if this is cool info, but cool.

Well after spending 21 years in the Army, I know a lot. From a guy hanging himself after three days in Basic Training, to a SGM with over 28 years of service, who killed his wife, then blew his brains out after finding out she was having an affair. Last week, there was a soldier (Fort Benning, GA.) with 17 years of service, shot himself in front of his kids. So now the family has to leave government quarters within 90 day, and no life insurance benefits whatsoever.

And this is why i knew this would be bad. Guys would instantly try to turn something even sort of kind of positive. Into a negative because it's got to do with black women.
