I keep telling my light skinned female members the real reason behind why dark skinned men are attracted to lighter skinned woman, and to be on the alert to this. Dark skinned brothers, simply want their offspring to have a better life than they had. which is understandable, the shit dark skinned people have to deal with daily is hard in white man's world we live in. But on the same token we as light skinned blacks need to encourage our lighter skinned daughters and relations, to stay within their lighter skin kinfolk, in order to deal with whites better. Dont get me wrong life is still hard for lighter skinned blacks, but its better than what the darker skinned ones go through. Just ask Obama, or Colin Powell, or Tony Dungy, Louis Farakhan, I can go on and on, on how lighter skinned blacks, if whites have to deal with blacks, will be favored over the darker ones. Just a sad reality.
