OKC Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs WCF

I wouldn't count the Spurs out just yet. ;)

This is a great fucking series btw.

Spurs doesn't have to win on the road against OKC. The Spurs roles should show up at home because that is usually the case for ANY NBA team in the playoffs. Perkins and Ibaka are going to do at least half of what they did in game 4 for game 5.

I would expect the big 3 for OKC to show up. OKC won in LA for game 5. There is no reason for me to believe they couldn't win in SA.

Props to the Celtics and Thunder for keeping both series interesting.

I'm sure many people were pegging MIAMI / SAN ANTONIO for the NBA Finals ... but OKC & The Green are doin' their thing and playing well respectively. Big ups to all 4 squads.

AHAHAHAHAH

started already 2 fouls and it was straight bullshit

2 fouls in less than a minute
memo make sure ibaka don't do nothing

lol we're in for one tonight

started the game off with two bullshit calls and took the leagues best shot blocker out of the game. Think that will have a big effect?

The Thunder have figured the Spurs out. The mystique of the "invincible" Spurs is gone. It's like two completely different teams out there compared to the first two games and the Thunder look like the better of the two now.

The only thing that will keep the Spurs in this is some of the boneheaded shots and decisions that Westbrook and Harden choose at times for reasons I can't explain. They can be their own worst enemy sometimes.

If they don't force shots and move the ball the Thunder can easily wrap this up in 6.

40% from the field
23% from 3 point
durant/harden combined for 3-12 from the field.

thunder need to keep the defensive intensity up, make sure they attack the rim and stop shooting jumpers. westbrook is almost at his shooting cap with 11 shots taken he needs to get everyone else more involved. cook has been big keep him in at spots preferably when green is in to hit open 3's nobody is having an outstanding game and they're getting it done.

39% from the field
25% from 3 point
parker/duncan are 3-12 from the field
ginobili is shooting 4-7

basically stephen jackson is showing up. really if there weren't those bogus calls it wouldn't be this close.
duncan needs to make some shots, parker can't get open doesn't
if i'm the spurs im not gonna let okc out pick and roll me like they have been thus far. i try my best to stay in the lane and create something to get to the line and stop worrying about the 3's because okc isn't sagging and leaving the shooters.

yes a couple of times harden totally fucked the offense and then handed the ball to westbrook in a position where he had to create because there was a little time left.

harden has the ball waves off durant and westbrook then doesn't do anything then hands it off...

another time he goes 1 on everybody and then just plain fucks it up. i don't get it well i've said he is a hog and he is.

Really Westbrook... that's how you're gonna start the 3rd qtr? :hmm:

Oh, and Perkins is one of the most horrid offensive player I've ever seen. :hmm:

you must have never seen this guy play

THAT'S what Westbrook needs to do. Get to the lane and dish. Get your big men involved and get their adrenaline going so they give you maximum effort on the defensive end.

Yeah and dude holds the ball way too long trying to look for a shot. That shit stagnates the offense. :smh::smh::smh:

the misconception that harden is a great distributor has run rampant he usually plays with the 2nd unit and he's the best player so no other players actually even need to touch the ball. he's like a mini iverson

bur when he plays with the starters he can't do that...but he still does

he needs to learn to set people up waaay more imo

him and westbrook should defer to durant period. and then take what the offense gives them

Man Westbrook is out there flirting w/ disaster. Jackin' up way too many jump shots.

They need to keep going to Durant when they need someone to create. Every time he touches the ball something good happens.

so fucking stupid
the only thing the spurs can do is drive and kick out for open 3's that's the only way they can win

STOP SAGGING IN stay out there...that's how those turnovers happen because those lanes aren't open.

smh its simple
