Official 2012 Lakers vs Thunder Playoff Thread

I think okc is too young and erratic to have a shot against the spurs but it's gonna be a fun series

i disagree the spurs aren't the defensive team they once were
now they just tear you apart offensively

if okc goes inside like they did tonight i see no reason why they can't compete and even possibly win the series.

Well, if one must lose, 42 points isn't a bad consolation prize.

I think this is a wrap for Kobe and the rings.

I also wouldn't be surprised if two of their big three is out the door.

There is no reason to keep Bynum. He is a big dude, but he's not hungry. Pau is no longer hungry. Kobe is old.

Where do you go LA?

Funniest shit ever. The agony of defeat:

Kobe will have Pau shipped off somewhere.

Kobe can still be a main cog on a championship team, shiit, him and Pau were the only ones to show up for this game, I agree though, that the rest of those boys ain't hungry no more, they happy with those 2 rings they got, as far as improving the team, their only trade bait is Pau, Mitch saw what happened tonight, he knows we gotta her more athletic at the wing and PG positions, they gotta re-explore that Houston trade for Lowry or find someway to get a OG that can run with these young guns, Kobe and Bynum can get u a series, but that's it at this point...

Just leaving the game and the shit was loud as hell. Kobe was determined to get his 40 like Lebron. Gasol played his ass off even with Kobe screaming at him all game long. We heard him telling Pau to get physical like Perk on screens. The flagrant on MWP was a bullshit call. Westbrook seemed to come into his own during this game. The Spurs, damn it's gonna be tough.

congrats for u and ur team. Knocking out two teams that took you out of the playoffs

Kobe is the last piece remaining from the glory days, Phil gone, Fisher gone, Odom gone, Gasol on his way out, Brian Shaw gone...how much longer will he remain with the team ?

One thing is for sure a small market team will be in the finals.. Something JEW STERN AIN'T WANT

who else with a championship shot has the cap space to pay him what he get from the lakers?

and why tha fuk would he wanna leave one of the most popular markets to get w/a possible smaller one?

They had all of those guys and got swept last year.

Reason I said Jim Buss has all the excuse he needs now. A changing of the guard. remember what happen when the Lakers lost to the Pistons and the lakers had to trade Shaq to avoid giving him an extension and start building around Kobe.

Now with 2014 coming up. Buss is going to build young. don't be surprised if Mitch calls it quits too

So you think they going to get rid of Kobe? if they do I think Kobe retires before he gets traded.

No. Buss can for Kobe to retire. All he has to say is the same thing his father said in 2004. This team as it is currently constructed cannot compete for a championship.

they had a good run and it's time to rebuild. Rebuild around bynum. Go young. This will either force Kobe to retire, ask for a buyout or ask to get amnesty. Then again Kobe can play with a Laker team that will not be a contender.

Again this will be about money and losing again in the 2nd round and to a younger team? Buss has his excuse. Everyone has to rebuild one day. The Lakers time is coming

We were sitting court side near the Laker bench, and those faces Brown was making had us clowning.:lol::lol:
