Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

it was good to see Jaime back and damn he made an impact. As soon as he started talking escape I knew it was a wrap for cous.

and it was interesting to Tyrion & Ceresi have a legit heart to heart. She realizes that Jeoffrey is a piece of shit and potentially damaged by the means of his birth. She even told Sansa that motherfucker aint shit. Rightfully so Sansa lost her shit when she found out she was ready to bear children and I like that Shae had her back.

The last scene, what Tyrion going to give his sister a hug or he was angling for his?

The last scene, what Tyrion going to give his sister a hug or he was angling for his?

yeah it was something odd there towards the end.
i think it was more so that they hate each other so much after having the heart to heart there was that awkward moment where most ppl would hug but their relationship aint built on affection.

This shit is well writen.Always leaves you in suspense for next episode.

My predictions:

1- That whore stole the dragons. We never saw her body and she just disappeared.

2-Jon Snow is going to end up leading those Wildlings. We never learned who his mother was and I have a feeling she was a Wildling. He has no real family or connection to anyone but the Starks so I see him leading those Wildlings.

3- Theon didn't kill the two boys. They were burnt unrecognizable for a reason.Plus, they wouldn't have wasted all that TV time to just kill them.

#1 - Never thought about that. Wait and see I guess.

#2 - makes sense. Ned was awful secretive about Jon Snow's mother, even with Robert. It'd be an interesting twist.

#3 - yeah. when I saw burnt bodies beyond recognition I thought, man that can't be them. But still, the second in command (I don't know his name) runs the show and is the brains behind the whole thing.

Tywin is on to ole girl but he likes her so he sees no reason to rock the boat

great episode

 Did you see my girl Arya pondering killing him right there but unsure of her opportunity? She held that knife thinking, "Should I just end this fucker now?"

He is on to her, but she is doing her job at keeping up pretenses. She isn't as smart as she thinks, though. However, she would have fooled most, but not Tywin.

true.

Im wondering what is going to happen with the "Dog" Sandor Clegane.
They have been developing his character notably in the last 2 episodes

Great show based on great books. I love the subtle changes they are making as it keeps it fresh for me. I don't know why Sansa is so worried about her period coming on. Joffrey could care less about pussy. He's more likely to be more excited about seeing the blood from her period than fucking. :smh:

I still dont understand myself, your uncle gave you 2 women and you have one of them beat the other....I wish my uncle gave me 2 women to fuck....:smh::smh::smh::smh:

I like how certain things are setup - in this case when Tyrion and Cersi are speaking about Joffrey adn Tyrion says that he is like Robert - she says Robert was never cruel - She knows that without a doubt he is Jaime's son. We later see why because Jaime may be more subtle than Joffrey but he is just as cruel and ruthless (remember tossing a young boy out the window) and then we see him killing his groupie cousin.

She is worried about her period because she can now be forced to have babies by Joffery. Sansa sees what an evil prick Joffery is and doesn't want to bring any of his kids into the world. Also she knows that once she has a son by Joffery, her usefulness to Joffery is over...Joffery would probably have her killed. :smh:

You are right. Joffery doesn't care about pussy but its always been in the plans for him and Sansa to have children. To Joffery, Sansa's only purpose is to bare his heirs. After that, she dont mean shit

His story was probably true. Most sons of Lords have to be a Squire to another Knight before they can become one. But Jaime wasn't typical in any way. He won his Knighthood in battle and was the youngest ever to join the Kingsguard.

The book version of that sequence with Jaime escaping wasn't quite as gruesome and it involved Tyrion sending people to help Jaime escape. I actually like this one better, because Jaime has been captured all season, so they needed a reminder of just how sinister this dude is.

True story or not. Dude's nick name is the king slayer .... you don't let your guard down around someone nicknamed the king slayer

If you let your guard down around the "[anything] slayer" and then the person slays you. It's really your own fault.

thats something that the book really emphasised and was emphasised by the title of the show. Jaime was a Kingsguard. Those dudes were basically the elite secret service. Dude is without honor cause he killed the person he had vowed to give his life to protect. Whenever they call him kingslayer they are pretty much spitting his face.

but Jaime had his motives and in his twisted way thought he was doing the right thing.

Yeah - Jaime is that dude... not as smart as his brother or father, but definitely smarter than his twin... I love how they are portraying so far.

Maybe its me - but I hate what they are doing with Danny, she is coming across a bit shrill, weak and totally ignorant of the ways of power... making threats, when she only has a few guards and no money... so far this season they are not showing her intelligence, nor cunning... she was supposed to be playing this game at higher level by now, would have known that she was a pawn from the moment she entered Xaro's house, and be in survival mode. I hope they get her character on track real soon...

Am I the only person who like the Tywin and Arya dialogue....I think Tywin is trying to figure out which house Arya really comes from.

he was trying to decide whether to hug her or put a reassuring hand on her shoulder but was unsure whether or not he would be rejected, since cercei doesn't have any love for him.

they've done a good job of making Tywin a 'likeable' character. Dude is smart and cunning but he isnt pure evil like his nephew nor malcious. He values intelligence and can respect Rob for doing his thing.

its interesting how much his relationship with Arya has developed. He geniuely appreciates her company but she would put a knife in his neck if she ever got an oppurunity.

I think after this, she'll be alot more wary and cuning around powerful people.

That's how i took it. lol Tyrion is like "to ordinary humans, i'd give them comfort... not sure what i should do to this THING though."

My girl said Tyrion approached her and was looking at her like a wild ass wounded animal. You're not sure if you should check on it but still be very cautious lmao.

Jamie is interesting to me, he's not really ruthless though. And he's not cruel to me. He's a survivalist. And he's devoted. He didn't try to kill Bran because he's hateful. He was doing it to protect Cersi. He didn't kill the king just CAUSE, he had a reason to do it.

Does anybody think that this was the first time Cercei confirmed the rumor of Joffrey's real father to Tyrion? After all, he had just said that he did not act like Robert. In her need to share her anguish and loneliness with somebody, she opened up to the one muhfuhkah who can do something with the information. BTW, Tywin knows (or will know real soon) that Arya is a Stark. He just doesn't think that she can hurt him where he has her now.

Next to the show, checking out this thread is the next best thing.

i think everyone knew including Tyrion. He got smacked last season I belive for making a joke that Ceresi wouldnt fuck him while Jaime was away. I think its the 1st time other than Ned that she outright confirmed. She confirmed it as if it were common knowledge.

with that how the fuck a smart motherfucker like Tywin doesnt know. Either he doesnt want to know or knows but turns a blind ey e to it.

damn, they changing things left and right now:idea:

This is excellent imo.... we've already read the books, surprise us a little.

I would not say that but you cleaned it up nicely in the following sentence of how things are.

nah he turns a blind eye to the rumors, since they're his "perfect" children, and if he acknowledges that then he would have to look to the "monster" tyrion as his best hope for continuing the lannister line, and he has nothing but contempt for his imp son, since he "killed" his beloved wife by being born.

Tywin doesn't know Arya is a Stark. He knows she's not who she says she is. He knows THAT. But if he knew she was a Stark he'd hold her hostage and offer her to Robb for Jaime.

nah tyrion is very observant, in the books, he told her that he knew from when they were children.

tywin may suspect that arya isn't who she seems but i doubt he'll find anything concrete, or else that would change the story dramatically.

Jamie is slowly become one of my favorite characters. He really isn't evil, he's just out for him self. He talks a lot of shit, but he can back it up. I can respect that.

And before I forget, the dude on guard duty that night was a asshole too. Why would walk in that cell, put your sword on the floor, and lean in towards Jamie .... Kingslayer people !!!! If I walked by the cell and saw that one Lannister prisoner that I don't give a shit about, killed the other Lannister prisoner that I don't shit about, why would I go in to investigate? Just keep it moving.

I really don't like her character this season and this episode really brought it home for me. She yelling at people and treating them like shit when all they're trying to do is help her.

Am I the only person who like the Tywin and Arya dialogue....I think Tywin is trying to figure out which house Arya really comes from.

Tywin and Arya's dialogue is the best thing going right now. When she picked up the knife and looked at Tywin's neck, I got hype. Starting yelling at the screen, "Not yet Arya, not yet? Revenge is a dish best served cold. And you not going catch Tywin slipping that easily."

I don't think it was the Stark boys. I believe thats why Theon's man wanted the old man sent back to Winterfell so that he wouldn't see the actual boys they killed but they could fool him into believing it was the Stark boys.

I believe they killed the kids that the Stark boys and the chick were talking about when they arrived at that house and just fronted like it was the Stark boys.

Or maybe his man led him to believe they had killed the Stark boys and burned them.

I don't think its them who are actually dead though.

this is game of thrones.

that said them two stark boys are toast!

did find it odd no giant or wildling girl though or dire wolves.

Am I the only person who like the Tywin and Arya dialogue....I think Tywin is trying to figure out which house Arya really comes from.

best shit in this episode!!!

she is my favorite character. she has more wit & skill

than half the men on the show, & not an idiot!

tywin knows she isnt who she says she is(she already lied twice),

but doesnt know exactly who she is.

This is one of the few shows where I'm mad at the end because I want more.

Some thoughts:

I don't think Bran and Rickon are dead. They did that so they wouldn't look stupid, even Theon looked surprised.

Jon Snow got set up lovely.

Danyrys is going to learn today.
