Andis Styliner II trimmer or the Outliner II... which do you prefer for shape ups?

Note: im just wondering what you all prefer....i've always had Outliner II's but this is my first time going with the Styliner II's

Just stick with the Outliners or T-Outliners, the Styliners are too much for home use. For starters...it's easier to adjust the blades on the Outliners, on the Styliners there is a 3rd screw and if you don't know what you're doing, you will either fuck up the adjustment and they won't cut right or you'll make them too sharp or too dull. The Styliners are much stronger trimmers than the Outliners and when they are too sharp, they can cut to the white meat very easy.

I use the Outliner III... my brother then went and got the O-T II... I've been trying to swipe it ever since

yeah i just tested them out for the first time.... i can tell its a way stronger motor with the Styliners.... i opened it up thinking it was the same ..... although i don't need to adjust them now .... let me know how to adjust them..... that 3rd screw fucked me up

I have both & use both. The styliner is more powerful but I have blades that are adjusted better on the outliner.

That 3rd screw takes a little time and patience. Whenever I get a new blade it takes me a couple days of playing with it to get it just how I want it to be. I give a much much crispier line up using my T-Outliners, I just use the Styliners for balding out on bald fades and sometimes on difficult grades of hair.

Actually I swear by Wahl's also, but only their clippers not their liners.

Exactly. It makes a huge difference. I couldn't get the edging right with the regular Outliner.. The T-Outliners work a little better.

I'm not a professional barber, but I've been cutting my hair and others for near 20 years. If you can afford to, get both. I use both. I use the outliner II to line myself up and I use the trimmer to shave my face with.

Going to get the T Outliner II tomorrow. What I need to know is what clippers are good for cutting hair. Getting the T Outliner II for shape ups and hairlines.

yeah the only way to prevent razor bumps is not not cut the hair below the skin which is what razors do.

yeah the only way to prevent razor bumps is not not cut the hair below the skin which is what razors do.

I start to get real nasty bumps when my facial hair & Line up grows back....nasty & painful bumps

Found these about a year ago. They are the muthafuckin truth. Closer than the andis trimmer and no bumps.
