Hot Head throws Hot Coffee on Clerk

WEST PHILADELPHIA - May 10, 2012 (WPVI) --
Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man
who was caught on camera throwing hot coffee on a donut shop clerk.
It's hard to believe, but police say this assault inside a
donut shop happened because of a dispute over the payment of a $2
sandwich.
It was a jaw-dropping moment caught on camera.
You can
hear the screams after Philadelphia Police say Tuesday morning a
well-dressed man with the mustache threw a cup of hot coffee on a worker
inside Fresh Donuts at 3914 Lancaster Avenue. He claimed he had already paid for the sandwich he ordered. So when the woman asked him to pay up, he became outraged.
"I paid for my sandwich, lady," the man is heard saying on the
surveillance recording. "Listen, I paid for my sandwich. I don't need
$2.25 or whatever you charged me... $2.40 cents." The man then went on a profanity-laced rant before prying the coffee out of a worker's hands and throwing it on her.
Customers confronted the man, but no one stopped him from walking out
of the store with a friend who was spotted at the counter with him
wearing a green hat. Witnesses say the coffee-thrower was in a tan or gold Cadillac.
Meanwhile 27-year-old Sok Caea wrenched in pain from behind the
counter. Not only was she back at work Thursday but you can see the
severe burns she suffered to her arm. She used a translator to speak with us.
"She's doing okay, she's doing fine right now just hurt a little bit," said the translator.
The woman moved from Cambodia last year and is working in the donut
shop part time to see if she would want to start her own business.
After her experience with this customer, her translator told us she's
thinking twice. "I think it's just senseless over a sandwich
and then you hurt people like that, it's just not right," said co-worker
Van Eap. If you recognize the man in the surveillance
recording, who is now facing aggravated assault charges, Southwest
Detectives is handling the investigation. They'd like to hear from you.
They are looking for an African American man, about 40 years
old, 6' 2" tall, about 200 pounds, with a mustache. He was wearing
