Pulp Wooding / Cutting down and loading pine trees for transport, yea that Axe Man shit.. I lasted 6 hours, it was suppose to be a summer job

Vector marketing/ cutco cutlery went in there once for an open house. Multiple red flags, would have to go door to door with full sets of knives on the southside, had to purchase enough sets of them to make some $$ and some random white woman with the most vile smelling breath I've ever smelled sat next to me.:puke: had the nerve to be chewing gum probably was cud. Never returned.

Ameriprise gig Looked promising but couldn't really get with the make a list to start winning shit.

worked as an event staff for a college stadium. Breaking down that bball court is no joke. Crazy schedule just didn't work out so I left.

Also tried working a p/t accounting gig for physics professor first day he lectured me on the history of a circuit board for an hour. I took one look at the store room of a thousand parts and began to worry lol... It wasn't to bad though, hung around till the new guy got on then bounced.

Worked in Telemarketing for a few weeks before quitting.

Worked fundraising for disabled and disadvantaged youth. We were outside on the hot ass blacktop during the summer. Worked there only 4 days before quitting. I could've have been good at it but the summer kicked my ass that day and I didn't want to go back.

Worked outside sales for a couple of months during the summer before quitting. That cash on hand was a great motivator.

I did that shit for about a week after I got laid off of a prior job.

I knew I shouldn't have taken it as I got more from unemployment, but I was tired of sitting in the house.

I got hired during Christmas, so instead of one truck, there were 2 or even 3 a night...shit was killing me.

I wound up hurting my back and got broke of with some nice workmans comp checks after I quit.

A hot warehouse, no chicks anywhere, minimum wage no prospects for moving up.

Dat shit was dead my nigga.

I was there three days and bounced.

At the age of 16 I had a summer job through a program for Low Income teens. One day as I struggled with typing and the demands of being treated like an adult in a job that I was not truly prepared for, I once again reviewed my high school credits. I realized that I only needed one or two courses to graduate. I resigned from the job and signed up for summer school and finished High School in the 11th Grade.

In hindsight I should have gone back to school for the 12th Grade to be better prepared for College. I should have at least focused on spelling. I was not ready for college. However, I never stopped the college goal. I now have 4 College Degrees. I am a "Life Learner."

McDonalds, 1 week...my boy put me on, it was 3 of us working together after school. My boy had been tbere a year already and he was getting his raise. It was only a nickel, after being there for a whole year. He got pissed and quit, and he was my ride, so i left with him...never went back.
First week in college, work/study job in the cafeteria....shitty hours and only 4.15/hr. Lasted 1 1/2 shifts.
Second week in college, work/study job in telemarketing, lasted a few hours......
2 temp agency jobs, ( FUCK Manpower! ) one in a hospital installing TV's/wall mounts....wasn't so bad, but it was in the psyche ward, scared the shit outta me! The other was bagging sand bags, way to hot and dirty. I think I still got sand in crevices to this day....

I should have known it was bullshit when they told me the training was paid, but I had to work for a full week out of training before I could get paid for it.

Needless to say, I never got that training check. I bounced during lunch on my second day.

Aww man before law school...

H&R Block - When I was struggling to get a job, my girl put in an application for me for a "recruiting position", they wanted me to be a "marketing coordinator" on bankhead. I'm like cool - its a job and Ill deal with them bankhead ninjas if I can help be a staffing and retention/HR person. But...I thought it was one way... Basically they told me no - I'll be battling the liberty tax guy on some  right next to the Church's chicken with nothing but a walkman, an H&R Block spandex suit, and whats left of my dignity slowly withering away. I was on the frontline of promoting the brand. :hmm: The face of the company. What's worse...I stayed there for training and received a check for $24. I didn't even cash that shit and never fucked with them again, but I had to report this shit as a job on my bar application.

Paper mill/warehouse laborer off of Fulton Industrial. No words. Working from 6 to 8 everyday for $7 an hour to get enough money to apply to school and eat . Worked three whole days. This shit right here....damn! I was the only ninja not living in a half way house and they treated us like shit. There were bosses who couldn't even count telling me I wasn't shit. Literally telling me I would never amount to shit and I had already been excepted to law school. Damn buzzer going off for 30 min lunch and 15 min break. Man of all my life lessons - this was probably the best. Made me the person I am today.

Got a summer job as a door to door vacuum salesman. I lasted 4 hours.
