i dress like im bout my business. i dont wear caps....not my thing. if im not at work (dress shirt, tie, slacks),...im usually dressed casually. i dont do that sagging shit. if i wear a jersey, its because im at a game or out playing basketball. but i dont wear jerseys and throwbacks as part of my daily wardrobe. i guess when you're married, when you're out in public, you are representing more than just yourself. sometimes the way you dress and carry yourself can demand respect without you ever having to utter a single word.

Like if you're wearing stickers on your fitted, that looks corny to me.
If you're dressing trying to look like A$ap Rocky at 35 you look corny.
If you have braids at 35, you look corny.
It's like saying Halle Berry shouldn't wear a tight dress, she needs to wear dresses to her ankles.

It depends on what your doing to decide wardrobe. Otherwise I think people should dress appropriately and over 30 cats should dress their age and not like a teenager.

I'm not really the dress up unless I'm going to weddings, funerals, and / or dates. When I go to school I wear tee-shirts, nah not like all white or all black, somethin usually on it or whatever I see that look right to wear for that particular day. Work materia, we have company issued shirts, other than that I'm good... I ain't gonna spend top dollar on no gear neither, I know times hard and all, I ain't gonna burn my pockets just to impress a person, that's for the birds.
Outside of professional events..(ie work, weddings and the like)
You should wear what makes you comfortable as long as its respectable.

What he said .... I still wear tshirts/ jeans when i go into work i wear a polo / button up sometimes with slacks / jeans. I don't do suit and ties at all only weddings and funerals. I'm also not 30+ so i don't know why i even responded
i wear what i want to when i want to... if i have to i can rock the tees freshest sneaks and fitted hats and when i have to i can rock a suit.
I wear t-shirts and jeans and old Timbs while working or casually. When I'm really going out and need to look nice, a button up over my "nice" jeans and hard soles or my "nice" sneakers.

So you would dress like this to go to the bookstore or grocery store? I just turned 30 and I dress the exact same way as I have for the last few years. I try not to wear colors that are too bright or seem outrageous but I still wear Jordan's and Foamposites on occasion. Because I live in Florida, I wear cargos almost year round. I also find myself buying more casual sneakers and shoes than Jordan's now though.
Exactly how I dress I tend to wear sneakers and jeans. Rock air max with some Jeans. If im going out slim Jeans, a button down and some nice black shoes. Rockports with airmax technology feel good

there is no standard. wear what you want. I keep clothes for all occasions and never any faddish stuff. So I got a closet full of suits, everyday to work khakis and polos, off the clock jeans and tees or polos. Always clean, never bright and obnoxious.
