A 34-year-old man was sentenced to life plus two years in prison after being convicted of charges related to sexual assaulting a 13-year-old girl whom he impregnated, the Fulton County District Attorney's office announced Monday.

A jury found Stephen Troy Kendrick guilty Thursday of statutory rape, aggravated child molestation, child molestation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and criminal trespassing.

College Park police found Kendrick sleeping with the 13-year-old, whom he first claimed was his 18-year-old cousin, in a vacant unit of the Cypress Glen Apartments on Godby Road last February, authorities said. The two are not related.

Investigators discovered that Kendrick met the girl while he was a boarder in her family's home. The girl's parents became worried about Kendrick's closeness with their daughter and asked him to leave, but he continued to sneak into the house to visit her, authorities said.

The girl ran away from home and lived on the streets with Kendrick. After police found the pair, the girl was reunited with her parents, who had reported her missing two months earlier, the DA's office said.

The girl was pregnant with Kendrick's child, investigators later discovered.

"The injury and pain of child birth associated with the young girl’s pregnancy" led to the aggravated child molestation charge, the DA's office said.

A 13 year old knows what she is doing when she lays on her back, too many pregnant teens around for her not to know the consequences in an area like Godby Road (Section 8 Galore)...life sentence is excessive unless she was mentally retarded, plus the parents probably sold her to the nigga for crack...they should be locked up for child endangerment for letting the nigga stay there in the first place.

I thought the same thing. It's people that get convicted of murder and get lesser sentences. It all depends on the state. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it (above my pay grade) but all of those teachers that molest those boys get like 5 or 10 years. That one teacher got out of prison and married the boy she was molesting...
 
At first I thought this was a little excessive, but fuck this dude needs the double death penalty.
 
I hope they start slapping these sentences across the board or something... Life is serious. I guess child molestation is finally being taken serious.

it is. i'd probably want the bitch under the jail if it was my son, but i don't have one yet so my only frame of reference is my own experience as a (damn near 6 ft) 13 y/o boy...and as much as i thought about pussy then, i'd have hated to see a grown bitch get thrown away for fuckin me when i would have felt like i had hit the fuckin jackpot :lol:

but i understand and i guess bitches should get it as bad.
