The same fucking Character in Every Movie!!!

Really Malcom X and Book of Eli were the same character?

Now don't start lying for this nigga here. Same gestures and everything.

:smh::smh:

these dudes are weird...i still contend that this right here is imhuman range for an actor:

He played this character before when he played the son of the white racist guy.

Training day was the first time Denzel Washington wasn't Denzel in some time then he started to doing caricatures of the role he played in Training Day.

Honestly, he is no different than many actors who do caricatures of their previous roles in every film. It just shows that he is doing it for the paycheck or he lacks vision. Now, I can see doing it in mainstream movies because that is what sells, but he rarely takes roles that have more depth to them. That is not to say that he hasn't played some good roles, but if you look at his films you can tell he has been doing the same thing.

And the winner is...

No this mfer keeps putting out the same Star Wars movies. All he does is add maybe 5 - 10 minutes of new special effects...

since we mentioning directors may as well include him

same shit in every movie:
-erratic shaky-camera shots
-rapid back-and-forth camera cuts
-occasionally CGI-enhanced action scenes
-people walking towards camera in slo-mo
-camera shots of women's backsides(or occasional lack therof  )
--shot through a orange filter of a helicopter(or a group of them) flying towards the camera w/ the sun setting
-camera pans 180 degrees around a character(usually after something important happens, sometimes with sad music playing in background)
-stereotypical depictions of Black/Asian/Latino,etc characters

Thanks. You explained it for the game goofy mutha phucka's on the board.
I didn't say he wasn't a good actor, but his delivery and gestures be the same.

Johnny, depp.

most of these are subjective but come the fuck on man
HE of all people doesn't play the same character unless its a sequel to a movie...

statham- cause its the only way he can get a movie made
howard- cause its the only way he can get a part
cage- is just a horrible actor

imo tho
THIS GUY

is the biggest offender

it don't matter what time period area of the country or place in the world the movie takes place

he is going to have a texas accent.

Word. That has me like  Gene was pretty versatile, from Hoosiers, to being Popeye Doyle to his take on Lex Luthor. He was great in Unforgiven.
.

Yeah some of the actors in this thread are being judged by the more recent work where they are
Just being cast to play previous chracters they,re famous for but a guy like gene you gotta go back. To see his range For example genes character in The Conversation.

Oh and as for tom cruise he has atleast tried. From top gun, collateral ,tropical thunder, minority report and far and away (ok his irish accent laughable) he has shown that he,s attempted to atleast try at some point and id say he did pretty good .
Hes similar to wil smith in that hes seen as more of a "movie star" than an "actor" but he has tried iš all im saying same goes for wil

This nigga here will never play anything different then the wierd geeky shy and akward kid..shit was funny the first 4 movies but its getting old now.

I thought both them crackkka was the same person...:eek:

some these actors y'all are namin' you gotta consider their whole body of work .. includin' some of their earlier films too..

like ..check out denzel washington in "Cry Freedom" and "Mighty Quinn" ..or Billy Bob Thornton in "SlingBlade" ...or jack nicholson in "Chinatown" or "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"... then come back and say they play the same character in every movie...

I guess you guys never heard of "character actors"

Or personalities.

Actors who are called for a flick for their particular personality.

Thanks. You explained it for the game goofy mutha phucka's on the board.

But that's not the topic, so you and MassaQ didn't read the title.
Go watch Denzel in Man On Fire and go watch him in Much Ado About Nothing.
Sounds like we got us a couple of haters in the thread.

MQ: "Damn that Denzel!"
WK: "Ol' sauve ass nigga"
MQ: "Fuck him"
WK: "Yeah, fuck that smoove ass nigga"
MQ: "My wife loves his bitch ass"
WK: "My girl love that nigga, too"
MQ: "Shit ain't fair, mayne...I tell ya...shit ain't fair"
WK: "Damn you Denzel! Damn you to hell!!!!!!"
