Man it's only a few cats in the game that I would take over Jim Lee. Joe Mad's work on the Ultimates 3 is probably the best straight super hero stuff I have ever seen. Lee is a beast though. His work on Batman Hush was just too sick.

BTW Whats the deal with wolverines claws? I remember they came out the back of his hand and then the movie came out and they put them between his knuckles. Then in comic books they started alternating between knuckles and the back of the hand, whats up with this?

its all about individual taste, cause i felt Joe Madureira's work on Ultimates was totally inappropriate for the material. such cartoony art might work for Spiderman, but not anything in the Ultimates universe.

Hitch's work sets the standard.

I believe that the previous cannon (I don't know what cannon is now after the reboot) was that the 'S' is a Kryptonian symbol for 'Hope', the same symbol when inverted means 'resurrection'. The symbol was also incorporated into the House of EL crest. Or something like that.
