Just saw the Wolves game and D-Wade saved them again. I think the Heat should stick with this formula as Wade is the closer and Bron the facilitator in closing seconds.
The Heat don't guard the three and I am not sure why Coach Spoel does not change his defensive philosophy. Heat fans have been complaining about this since last year.
We give up close to 30 pts in open 3's a game
This is why some teams hang around![]()
i think its because they lack size at center so they all try to protect the paint instead of extending their defense. they give teams the low percentage shot.

the Chalmers/Cole pg combo is a nice duo to have
you all almost beat a bum team (Bobcats) by 40 points...and my Bulls beat a good team (Memphis) by 40 points.
You all almost allowed 100 points...again..our opponent didnt even get 70.
Man!!! Let me get out this terrible ass thread!
BULLS!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, are you trying to replace Beeii as the official NBA thread troll?
Nigga!u bringing up old shit?
beat us in 5 games...and u all barely won the 4 that you all did win...but props on making it and then losing at the end.
btw.....you all arent any better than you all were last year. The added piece, Battier, aint looking like much yet.
the only reason you all are 5-0 right now is because Wade and Bron are complementing each other better than they did last year.
you all stil got a 2.5 player team...but hey... its stil early.
BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bron still ain't take a 3 yet... nor Wade.... its a wrap for teams now that they are scoring more in the paint.

Anybody got a link for this game?

I know this is one loss, a lose that occurred after the tail end to a back to back nevertheless, however there are a few alarming negative trends that I've noticed about Miami, and if they dont address these issues a repeat of last year is not out of the question.
1- Charmers is a cancer on the team, he has some talent but he tends to sulk and be negative and his behavior is contagious on the team. Plus like many Heat players he gets fed while Wade and/or James is really hot, if they are not, Charmers is no where to be found.
2- The Heat gets nothing from their centers, matter of fact I think they have the worst centers in the NBA.
3- They get very little offensive rebounds from their big men, that means the Heat get very little easy 2nd shot points.
4-Cole needs more mins, he is the only other player other than Wade and James who can create his own shot, and not have to be set up by an overe shifting defense focused on the big two, and unlike Mario, he doesn't sulk after a mistake or two, instead he keeps playing hard, and always challenges the defense.
Also Cole is the only Heat that dosn't get lured to sleep when the tempo slows down, especially against the zone.
I know once Cole gets his feet wet, and starts playing more, most of the problems associated with tempo should be cut down, and hopefully Curry has enough in the tank to give the team a big man who can not only give the team easy put back point, but also help with the tough rebounding in the paint.
I didn't see the game last night but from what I read... it also seems they need to work against playing the zone. And to go back to the point you brought up, Cole needs to be in there during those times. Cole obviously had no problem against the zone when they played the Celtics, so I don't know why Spolestra didn't have in the game in those last minutes. I guess he was trying to get Battier more in rhythm.
