Im a young engineer and look to buy a nice whip for myself to be rolling thru the streets with. Im currently driving a 2004 civic ex sedan. Looking to get a coupe, but could settle with a sedan, no convertibles though. Looking to spend around 38k-45k on a new whip and keep the civic as a daily driver. I been looking at the Acura TL, BMW 3-series, used BMW 5-series and AUDI A5. what yall think?

Well given that your civic is a daily driver, i would def get that A5 as a weekend warrior.

Everything else you listed as options are common daily drivers

LOL do you know anything about BMWs? That is not the 3 series available in North America. Also, it does not make economic sense to have a daily driver and a 3 or 5 series.

Keep the civic... Save those car payments.... How much money you got in the bank??????

I work around engineers and a bunch of them are from out of state and still have their college vehicles (some are still paying student loans).

but at any rate, keep the civic till the wheels fall off. get it dealer serviced for the warranty on the repairs.

if you must get something else, get something bigger, not more expensive. like a pre-owned Accord or a pre-owned Impala.

:smh: The comments on BGOL never fail

Dude said he wants a new car, he didn't ask what should he do. Why don't you just tell him to sell the Civic and ride the bus.

IMO those Acura's look like shit and don't look very masculine

I prefer the A6

So out of those I like 5 series BMW the best

Some of you need to stay out of other peoples pockets, because you can't afford it, doesn't mean he can't. Maybe he wants to splurge for once.

Some of you muthafuckas need to go clip some coupons or go search gasbuddy to see where you can save 2 cents instead of worry about dudes savings account.

I really think the issue is a lot of you drive pieces of shit, and you say silly shit to make yourselves feel better. I'm just doing it, because I'm thrifty and saving. GTFOH

I've seen the same thing. Them guys be driving the most beat up car around. They make good money but those student loans be on that back like a crack habit.

Bad move asking Bgol for advice/suggestions.

Go with what moves you and roll hard. Keep pushing the civic as a d/d and save those miles from the lux whip. I took the same route when I first bought a nice ride; Camry caught the miles, Lex was my spaceship.

Sell the civic and use the money towards the new car. There is absolutely no reason to hold on to the civic, it will just be an extra car to maintain, insure and pay taxes on. I drive my one car for everything.
