The Republican's Constant Assault On Black Folk! Why Would I Vote Republican.

If a particular "Candidate", who, for whatever reason, was running as a republican but shared enough of your views, or was closest to your views on the material issues, or was more likely to accomplish that which you are interested in being accomplished -- vis a vis the other candidate(s) ???

:yes:

Here in Charlotte, my mother was part of a neighborhood center that allowed the local kids to come there afterschool. They were fundraising and reached out to their city council representative, a Black Democrat. They never heard back. They reached out to a White Republican who wasn't even their representative and sent them $500. He had nothing to gain but he recognized the good they did and helped out.

Shame on the black democrat I guess...maybe he just gave $500 to some other shit I don't know....Looks bad though. However this Republican example reminds me of the Daltons in Native Son - providing ping pong tiables in the rec center while building and enforcing policies that created slums (one could argue that they could argue this goes for democrats as well).

Point being...what were the republicans policies? If a man gives me $500 but is voting against my interests (healthcare, infrastructure, public transportation funding) well :smh:

Genocide is long gradual process, that may not involve killing, such as the Nazis

Why Should Genocide be Redefined?

Under the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide adopted in 1948, genocide was defined in Article 2 as:
...any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.[1]

1. Deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to destroy a group includes the deliberate deprivation of resources needed for the group's physical survival, such as clean water, food, clothing, shelter or medical services. Deprivation of the means to sustain life can be imposed through confiscation of harvests, blockade of foodstuffs, detention in camps, forcible relocation or expulsion into deserts.

2. Prevention of births includes involuntary sterilization, forced abortion, prohibition of marriage, and long-term separation of men and women intended to prevent procreation. (prison)

3. Genocidal acts need not kill or cause the death of members of a group. Causing serious bodily or mental harm, prevention of births and transfer of children are acts of genocide when committed as part of a policy to destroy a group's existence:

You have to watch Republicans (White Nationalist Party) and some Democrats because of some of the policies that have been implemented. I also believe that some of the people in the Republican political party have committed acts of genocide.
