***note: kind of a spin-off of kadhafi's thread, who did bitch-slap me back in line with my d. will comments, but it's good though i ain't mad!***

with basketball season about to pop off, and cp3 making it official, the question has to be asked: who's big 3 is better?

listening to mike & mike on the morning drive to work, they both agreed that without a doubt the heat has the better big 3. i STRONGLY disagree with this statement, so i put it to the fam.

who's big 3 is better?

Miami.... ..

Melo is the best pure scorer of the 6(Range,%, etc)..The Knicks advantages end there..

Lebron is just as good of a facilitator as CP3

LBJ and Wade are far better defenders

They can also affect the game in more ways than scoring. In other words more versatile

Bosh isn't better than Amare but there isn't enough difference to say Amare is that much better. Neither play like big men.

paul plays for new orleans bruh
This.

come on man it's a given. he got the same leverage that melo had last year. either he goes to the knicks or he goes somewhere else for a year then bolts to NYC...

so you're asking about something that hasn't happened yet ????GTFOH

dude i know you love, i mean LOVEEEEEEE, Bron

but this is ridiculous

Magic Johnson, Barkley and others have called him the best passer or said he has the best vision in league.....Damn are they ridiculous too?... Many have called him the best pure passer...shit you can google that... I mean how else can you explain the 07 Cavs going to the Finals or the 09/10 Cavs having the best record? Facilitating means you get the best out of your team...Lebron hasn't been the best in th league at that?....

thats would be a great thread when/if this trade happens....

the 4's cancel the other out
the 3's cancel each other out

so it comes down to Wade and CP3 which can seem even at times

man they said he was the best passer for his position

they didnt say he was as good as paul

thats simply ridiculous

just peeped your avatar, my bad dude but truth hurts sometimes. cp3 is gone one way or another, just accept it. at least you'll still have a nba team there (for now).

but really, in their 13 match-ups, melo has won 9 out of 13. points average has them both going over 20 per, but lbj is killing him in assists. i agree that melo is the better scorer and probably one of the most complete offensive players in the game, but lbj as good a facilitator as cp3? :cmonson: i can't co sign that. and wade and lbj are good defenders, but cp3 is a flat out thief who's seems to always be at the top of the league in steals, and he's one of the better rebounding guards in the league IMO.

i honestly think that in a scoring battle, it's a draw. all of them dudes can score. but lbj has shown that in big moments, he's a soup sandwich. i think once cp3 makes his way to NYC (alexw) miami might be fighting a uphill battle for years to come.

man they said he was the best passer for his position

Him being best at his position is like calling Jordan the best scorer at his. Many times it's been said that he is arguably the best. Overall he's regarded as atleast top 5 man come on.

2 things I find funny. Lebron supposedly isn't as good as a facilitator than Paul....Yet....he's got more out of those Cleveland teams than Paul did from his N.O. teams, that is NOT debatable AT ALL...

Secondly....people keep talking about...how Lebron didn't finish..AT LEAST HE GOT there..where has any of the Knicks big 3 ever led anyone to?...Come on man.

the three in NY have to do something before this becomes a reasonable discussion. Assuming a deal gets done

People laughed their ass off at the heat when they were having teething problems. I look forward to see how many hypocrites are gonna twist to give those guys a pass should they ever come together

man i want to like the bulls, i really do. but colin cowherd called it best.

bulls = cavs (circa lbj era)

the similarities are there if you think about it:

these dudes have an OUTSTANDING young talent in rose, like the cavs had in james. they play above par defense, like the cavs did. they had the best record and number one seed in the league, like the cavs did a few years ago. they got bounced from the playoffs earlier than expected, just like the cavs. they have one SUPERSTAR who i think is one of the most exciting people in the league now, but who else they got? you can take that picture you posted, sub in varejao, mo williams, and jamison and what do you have?

THE SAME TEAM!

u just cant make stuff up to win an argument

and the jordan comparison doesnt make sense when his numbers are totaled against everyone who has ever played the game

lebron also played in the weaker eastern conference

which brings much debate to both your arguments

dude youre killing me tonight

lebron has to win something before you make these points

Wrong...... Earlier than expected? The Heat were crowned Champions in July. The Bulls overachieved by a mile. Boozer is better than Jamision(At least he was the year before he got that damn deal)... Noah is better than Varejao, ....Deng is better than Mo Williams. The only similarity is that they ended up only having 1 offensive threat..which wasn't supposed to be considering Booze was 20/10 his whole career up until then.

I agree with most of this

those fuckers overachievements were historical

i expect them to come down to earth this season

also, jamison and side show bob may be better than boozer and noah

noah and varajeo do the same exact shit...yet varajeo is a better scorer imo

and jamison surpassed boozer last year

boozer is a huge fucking disappointment

It does make sense. Does it not go without saying that Jordan is the best SG in history?

Does it not go without saying that Lebron is the best SF passer in the league? Come on man who is CLOSE?....It's without saying.. Winning has nothing to do with that..

Far as the comparison...man stop that "eastern conference" shit. It's not like baseball where conferences don't play each other. You act like to win 125 games in 2 years they didn't play the West.. In fact the Cavs had the best record against the West both years they had the best record...

How does that not matter? Even in REGULAR season record, he took his team to better records. Are you seriously arguing that Paul or anybody in the Knicks 3 for that matter has done more or taken a team farther than Lebron? You can't be serious man.

MAN that's so true. i think their talent(miami) will pay dividends in this strike shortened season. boston's old, chicago needs better guard play at the 2 slot, and nyc don't have paul YET.so their talent alone is going to win some games that will be sloppy because head to head, they're just more talented than most teams in the league now.

Noah and Varejao are the same player but Noah is slightly taller and better on offense...As a Bulls fan...I have no idea what to say about Boozer. Jamison is weird to me. He's always put up stats but somehow always been a non factor.

let me repeat, you stated that bron was a better facilitator than cp3

which is ridiculous based off of your numbers argument

furthermore, cp3 is simply the better facilitator

he took a team worse than brons deep into the playoffs if you want to use that argument

and the conferences does matter

especially when youre saying that brons teams went deeper into the playoffs than pauls

bron played weaker opponents in the regular season and in the playoffs

those cleveland teams wouldve done shit in the west...period!

comparing his road to pauls is foolish
