What do you cats really think about Lex Lugers production?

Im jumping back into the production game for a second..It helps me release stress. I was checking out some production by Lex Luger and I was impressed with the first couple tracks but the shit got repetitive very fast and I really couldn't hear any good production value. I like BMF, 2pac back and 600 benz but after that Im like ok I heard this before. I even looked at some of juicy Js shit with him and all that shit is wack to me..I just wanted to hear some opinions from Bgol about Lex's production. Please no Hate! I respect his grind and I am happy a young brotha is getting his paper..so keep this shit real...I dont want to hear "fuck him,..he is trash". If you dont like the shit let me know why.

he makes other shit than the typical lex lugar beat but niggas just always want that "hard in the paint" "bmf" tyoe of shit

like he made "that way" for instance

i fux wit homie, he do his thang and he seem like he just do him on the beats, him and southside be killin on the trap beats

this cat that makes some kill on some production to me
homie "Jalil" made that "Meek Millz feat Rick Ross - Ima Boss"

homie got signed to Roc Nation not to long ago also:cool:

Johhny Juliano makes some bangaz as well..
homie produced for T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Gucci, etc

(tha last one my joint:yes::yes::yes:)

Curious, what program are they using? Dude said he had been doing it for only 6-8 years?

it works real decent fam, i fux with it real tuff:yes:

He's decent for what he does and I think it was a matter of grind mixed w/ a little bit of good timing that blew him up. Every time he is discussed though, I always hear the "he makes other type of stuff but people don't want it" comment but everything I've heard outside of his usual sound isn't really too impressive imo. Like that Drake joint D-Town posted above isn't really hittin' to me. Just my opinion though.

With that said, I think there are a lot of other producers that do what he does a lot better (Runners, Drumma Boy, Shawty Redd, etc.) but it's just his time right now.

I personally think Boi-1da, Alex da Kidd, and T-Minus all go harder than Lex Luger out of the new crop of up and coming producers and it looks like T-Minus is about to be the new "it" boy for a moment with him doing the majority of Drake's new album plus the handful of other hits he's had.

I fucks with Lex Luger.

A lot of kats, especially these down here in the A want that trap sound and thats what he gives 'em. I mean, thats what he does best.

Just like Zaytoven, that nigga is the king of making trap muzik. He's a trained musician but most niggas that want him to do beats want that trap shyt.

Man, that dude Jahlil got some heat! Never heard of that kat until this thread...dude killed that shyt on that first vid! What beat is that??

That studio in the 2nd video "Studio 64"(L.E.S' Studio) That joint got kicked in by the Feds last month, it's not there anymore. I used to put work in over there.

I ain't got nothing bad to say about this cat.

If you're looking for some inspiration I suggest you check out Clams Casino. Nobody and I mean NOBODY is fuckin with him right now.

He hasn't shown one iota of versatility. ATL Beatbangaz
