DOS SANTOS rocked the fuck out of NELSON and CARWIN each over 15 full minutes apiece.
Also, KONGO knocked VELASQUEZ down 2 - 3 times in their bout in recent years ... before Cain came back to claim that victory.
MMA truly is unpredictable. Those clip shots to the temple and/or back of the ear definitely catch that equilibrium.
Hell ... my fight card picks are all over the map. I can go anywhere from 8 - 10 correct picks all the way down to 4 or so sometimes ... one never knows with the sport
Lesnar / Overeem will be interesting.

Actually it was Dos Santos that wasn't a 100%, he had a Torn Meniscus, no word on anything from Cain.

Yes - my brother was in town so we plugged the trusty laptop into the tv with the HDMI cable and streamed the prelims, then watched the main card and ate junk food. Good times.

Cain has fought 3 or more times in Anaheim in recent years.
I attended the October 2010 title win over Brock Lesnar and the building was pro-Cain and there were thousands of supporters in attendance and outside the building and in the region post-UFC 121 card.
They were looking to do a big money fight (REMATCH) between CAIN AND BROCK in 2012.
Unfortunately ... Cain was off for just under 13 months rehabbing the shoulder post-surgery ... Brock's got a big fight against OVEREEM on Friday, December 30th ... and many of us have a feeling that OVEREEM is gonna put on a great showing. The UFC brass aren't so sure how they can sell a DOS SANTOS - OVEREEM match-up with it being the 1st title defense for JUNIOR, and Overeem being new to the company (and by that point it'll only be his 2nd fight under the UFC banner). Isn't as SELLABLE a fight for the suits as CAIN-BROCK II in the first 1/3 of '12

In my opinion, he's liked by many and has more supporters than haters. People respect JDS' power though too.

He's a hell of an athlete and fighter and one of the classiest dudes in sport period. JDS and Cain V are two of the most likeable guys around.... it kind of baffles me that anyone could "hate" either of these dudes.

Those announcers are fun, man. So much better than Goldberg's formulaic ass. Lyoto is also training in a smaller octagon to fine tune the effectiveness of his technical fighting style. More impressively he has three cameras running in real time to help his trainers correct small mistakes in his form. If you or I wore a "black pride" tattoo should we go "back to Africa"? That's fucked up. Mexicans have been (and continue to be) a marginalized community here in the states so I can see why someone would react with a statement of pride in who and what they are under these circumstances. Dude is so humble, thankful, and down to earth. He underestimates his skills. Much respect for this guy. Seems like the Brothas and Brazilians have most of the UFC tittles. I don't see Bones, Spider, GSP, or Santos losing anytime soon.
